Here in Georgia, churches can choose to allow firearms.......
But, I cannot help to feel like needing a gun in church is ass backwards.........
No one should have to arm themselves in a place of worship (in a society with laws)............
If the state of South Carolina will not protect its black citizens places of worship then the federal government has the responsibility to do so..........
Call Obama out......
If the executive branch does not respond.....
Defend your 1st Amendment rights with the 2nd......
Should black preachers start allowing guns in their churches??????
I'm pretty sure guns are allowed in any church that is located in a state with conceal/carry permits.
The best thing to do for churches have a plan in place in the event the church has to defend itself.
But unless they hire 24/7 security and surveillance, I'm not sure how firearms inside the church can help prevent church attacks that typically happen while nobody is at the church -

Not really
GRELLEYVILLE, S.C. (AP) – A fire that destroyed a black church in South Carolina was not the work of an arsonist, a federal law enforcement source said Wednesday.
Preliminary indications are that the fire at the Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church in Greeleyville was not intentionally set and was not arson, the source said. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case publicly. The fire is still under investigation, the official said.
