Lil Wayne May Be Back In The Booth For ‘No Ceilings 2’
When Lil Wayne dropped No Ceilings back in 2009 it marked the return of mixtape Weezy. Mixtape Weezy is everything.
So the idea that Wayne may be on his way back to greatness and a No Ceilings 2 is an exciting one, especially because his CMYMB purgatory almost guarantees that we wont hear The Carter 5 anytime soon. Today, Young Money artist Stephanie Acevedo shared the video below on her Snapchat of Tunechi rapping over Drake’s “Back To Back.”

Now, could this be Weezy just warming up the mic? Perhaps, except Mack Maine retweeted the following tweet…for no apparent reason.
It could be nothing at all. Or Mack could just be agreeing with the fan. OR…OR…it could be a hint. Only time will tell, but if we get No Ceilings 2, and if it’s anything close to the original it’ll be a the stuff of dreams.

A few days ago, Lil Wayne was seen in the studio remixing “Back To Back.” It turns out that it won’t just be a random track. Wayne is indeed working on a new mixtape, a follow-up to 2009’s No Ceilings.
DJ E-Feezy, who works closely with Weezy, confirmed the project’s existence on Instagram while previewing two new snippets of his “Where Ya At” freestyle. As for a release date, there isn’t one yet. Considering Halloween is the sixth anniversary of No Ceilings, today would be cool.
Besides the two beats already mentioned, what other instrumentals do you want to see him spit over?

Lil Wayne’s “No Ceilings” Mixtape Turns 6 Years Old Today, Is There A Sequel On The Way?
6-years ago on this day aka Halloween, Lil Wayne released his No Ceilings mixtape, which I think everyone would agree on was a classic! Like myself, I’m sure any other Weezy fan still plays this tape every so often as the music on it can never get old.
What’s crazy is that we could possibly be seeing a sequel to No Ceilings, because not long after we found out Tunechi was recording a freestyle over Drake’s “Back To Back” beat, Mack Maine retweeted a fan on Twitter who tweeted: “hope we get a no ceilings 2″.
Of course this could be a huge reach, but I think it’s fair to say that Tune is definitely working on a new mixtape as he has already started recording remixes and he still can’t release music for fans to buy as the Cash Money lawsuit is currently ongoing.
What do you Wayniacs think? Do you think we could see a No Ceilings 2 tape anytime soon? Possibly tonight for the anniversary? Or do you think the next Tune project will be Dedication 6, which DJ Drama did confirm would happen back in March this year? -
Lil Wayne Debuts His “Where Ya At” Freestyle Off “No Ceilings 2” [Video]
Well that didn’t take long! After posting about maybe looking forward to getting a sequel of the No Ceilings mixtape a few hours ago, it has now been confirmed that Lil Wayne will be releasing a No Ceilings 2 mixtape.
We previously heard a sneak peek of Weezy‘s “Back To Back” freestyle 2 days ago and now another confirmed beat that he has recorded a freestyle over for the project is Future and Drake’s “Where Ya At” single.
Last night, Tunechi debuted his “Where Ya At” freestyle at IVY Nightclub in Miami, Florida. You can check out a 30-second preview of Tune performing it live after the jump below, courtesy of DJ E-Feezy! Who is excited?

Who Is Going To Be Featured On Lil Wayne’s “No Ceilings 2” Mixtape?
As of right now, it looks like both King Los and Turk are going to be featured on Lil Wayne‘s upcoming No Ceilings 2 mixtape, due to be released later this month on Thanksgiving Day (November 26th).
Los previously hinted that him and Mr. Carter have a collaboration on the way and it looks like it will be appearing on the sequel to No Ceilings as he recently tweeted: “No ceilings 2… [for Kings only]“.
The former Hot Boy, Turk, shared a screenshot of a text conversation he recently had with Tunechi that you can check out below. Turk can be seen asking Tune to send him a song for him to jump on.
Not longer after the second installment of Wayne‘s No Ceilings mixtape series was announced, ILoveMakonnen went on Twitter to tweet: “No ceilings 2, all will be right in the world again”.
Even though this may just be Makonnen being a fan excited to hear the project like all of us, it could also be possible that he has a feature on the tape, or Weezy hit him up to send a beat he can remix!
