Edge been lovely, but I had to take it back for a new one 5 days after I got it due to random reboots. Apparently that's an issue Verizon is seeing a lot of lately. So far the new one hasn't done it, so I'm good.

My experience so far and workarounds I did.

So i was looking to root my edge to take off some of the bloatware and apparently they have locked the boot loader.
So I disabled some of the bloatware, but some just can't be disabled. The phone forces you to keep Samsung's S-Planner (calendar), and their stupid clock. So now I have two clocks and calendars on my phone. If you don't use Google calendar or clock then you can delete them very easily through the application manager

The SG7E does comes with the google launcher too, so you can use that if you do not like the touchwiz launcher.
The touchwiz launcher comes with themes that are pretty cool and sets your phones UI apart from others. The only thing I don't care for is the flipboard app that is pre-installed on the phone.

    My Theme pictures

I disabled the flipboard app, so there is no screen to the far left as usual... it would of been nice to have google now there instead. I did add another screen to the touchwiz launcher and put the google now widget on there. It's a work around, but not what I really wanted.

Google Now Widget on touchwiz launcher

so far this S7 is the truth I'm running a 64gb SD Card in it at the moment was going to put a 128 but decided I don't really have a need for that much space. Phone is the truth tho

    Does it lag @Cain

I love Samsung hardware but their hardware tends to get janky after a few months of heavy use.

Had the Note 4 and that phone was pretty much useless in rural areas that was a pain in the ass too.

The only reason I really upgraded was because my M8 charger port broke. So it was either pay $150 for insurance to repair it or get a new phone for less.

Not much, its all andriod phones so they feel pretty much the same. Obviously faster and doesn't lag like my M8 started to do

I picked up the phone other day and from a hardware standpoint it's the best phone I ever owned.

    The good...

TouchWiz is much lighter now almost to the point its unrecognizable. It's snappy and moves fast. It is very smooth now and a far cry from when I got my GS3 back in 2012 which was lagging and freezing up right out of the box. I like the theme store Samsung has added too.

The battery life is the best I've ever had on a Android phone. Not iPhone 6 Plus good, but close. I've heard the Motorola phones have good battery life too, although I have not owned a Motorola since my old Moto Razor years ago.

I like the edge display although it's more of a niche feature than something that's really needed and most developers have not figured out how to take advantage of it.

The camara is nearly DSLR quality you won't find a smartphone with a better camara. Lots of things you can do to tweak it to your specifications too.

    The bad....

I have still have a few gripes. Samsung's antennas are still garbage just like with my Note 4 and GS4 and GS3 I used before it. My S7 Edge constantly drops calls were my iPhone 6 Plus had service.

Samsungs fast charging is a gimmick that does not deliver it takes my my phone like 2 hours to charge on the stock charger longer than that using the charging pad. Takes the phone like an hour just to charge 40%. Smh

Samsung needs to offer a North American variant of the phone in the 64 or 128 GB variety. Yes, I know I can buy an SD card which I don't mind, but I like my stuff running what I need right out of the box without me having to go buy third-party accessories other than a phone case.

My fast charge works fine. Remember fast charge is to get your phone from 0 to 50 quickly.

Ive never had a problem wit the fast charger. If my phone is on 10% it takes about a hour and some change to get it back to 100%
I was thinking about get a wireless charging pad, is it worth it?
