Better Catalogue, Eminem or Jay-Z?

Both are definitely among the elite in hip hop....

Both considered to have classic albums under their belt...

For me, I feel like one of the best things about Hov is his consistency...he's put out a lot of consistently good/great material. Eminem is a lil more up and down in my opinion, but still has some excellent albums under his belt

So to the question, who's catalogue is better?

    I thought the same thing, as far as Em havin classics. MMLP is considered one by alot of ppl, so I'll give him that one

    MMLP is on the same level as Vol 1, American Gangster to me and i don't consider neither one of those albums classics.

    im a bigger em fan, but he had that looong period were he was making wack music so alot of his songs suck unfortunatly...

    jayz i feel like his music has been declining since black album but he still makes cool tracks

    jay-z just cuz he has more good songs then em...even though i think em's best songs are better then jay's best songs

    The Black Album > The SSLP
    The Eminem Show > Blueprint ...

    OR
    Soldier, Sing for the Moment, Till I Collaspe, Super Man?

    Eh .. I'll go with the Black Album and Jay's Catalgue ..
    Em have too many LOL songs, and ? fillers for me ..

    Em is still in my top 5 and Jay is in my 10 ten, doe .

    I would have to say Jay Z even though I favor Eminem over him I just think Jay Z has more classic hits than Eminem.

    Jay and consistency don't even belong in the same sentence....his catalog is suspect but compared to that white weirdo, he takes the win by a long shot. Eminem only has one decent album on his resume and that's MMLP.

    Normally any eminem/jay thread turns into a hate fest

    I don't see how my post is "haterish", I'm being brutally honest....Jay's catalog consist of numerous sub par albums and as for the cross-dresser, his ? ain't nothing to brag about either. Maybe if we're discussing sales then of course but if we're grading on the quality of his music, his ? is ? -poor. Eminem has one of the weakest catalogs in rap.
