To be fair, twerking wasn't even that popular in the mainstream till recently. Like a couple years ago type recently. Just like ? wearing tight pants. I still remember when Crystal Clear was like the first time fat chick's started getting major play on the porn scene. When white girls didn't have ass and they'd rather ? before getting a ? shot.

? we do everyday, ? we take for granted, ? we'd shunned becomes popular to these people out of no where. There's probably something all of us do right now that could catch on later and make us rich. Having the foresight to see what that is a mystery in itself.

The problem with this line of thinking is that it defines the idea that success can only be achieved through wealth capital. That is not true.

The problem is too many people thinking of how to make Nike and Apple revenue but thinking it futile to try that on their own cause it is. While forgetting that they could still make a couple of million in their lifetime while also attaining the greatest and most valuable assett of all: complete individual freedom.

Again though it all boils down to how you measure success.

I've seen black women have tweak classes pole dance etc.. the problem isn't that black people aren't going to make a business it's just when why people get ahold to it . It becomes the thing and make more money because it's more of them and they have more money it's pretty simple.

    Agree with this.

    But ...

You can also make 5X that by putting yourself in demand with a core skill set; and building on that foundation.

There is even opportunity in consulting / running a business of one ... or a few.

I have heard rhetoric on here that condemns ever "working for the man".

    Yeah ok...

If you can pull 150, 200, 250+ throughout the prime of your career and provide for your family; Give back to the community ...

    I don't see that as a negative.

There are more ways to make a financial future for yourself outside of owning your own company with a business model employing hundreds of people.

Black People need to think bigger than videos on the net. Im not surprised twerking is monetized as exercise.with strip clubs being popular there should be pole dancing classes and exercise DvDs in every city.

All these genaralizations, everybody aint slavin it out. The great majority of my inner circle at the least has a decent side hustle, at most, is 100% eat what you ? status. I have nieces and nephews and lil cousins who I tell they shouldnt have to work for nobody, ever, and should start learning how to support themselves early. I'm workin on gettin my wife on self sufficient status. ? talkin about what aint, and lets figure out what can be.

A virus dont complain about whats goin on in the rest of your body, it just spreads until it sieze ? up. Spread the hustler's mentality until we all free, everybody aint built for it, but many are.

i think the word hustle has a negative connotation in our community.

its like when you hear it....it usually comes from someone trying to get money fast without the work. i think we should replaced it with "hard work"

i knew a hustler who would not get a job but took the time to break into abandoned houses and strip all the copper pipping out. he hustled but dont wanna work
