1.When they debuted how did they change the culture

    2. What are their classic albums

    3. what imprint have they left in the game not just regionally but universally

    4.who did they influence

simple as that if you cant answer any of those then you not a legend

    Nosign

When they first started making rap records the earliest rappers and rap groups might have only released a couple of 12" singles. But there's artifacts that prove their impact; flyers, tapes, video footage, etc.

Kurtis Blow, Melle Mel, Grandmaster Caz, Kool Moe Dee, Spoonie G, Funky 4+1, etc. are all legends but none of them have a classic album.

You'd sound stupid saying that Grandmaster Flash isn't a legend, but he doesn't have classic album.

you realize there's still 3 of the 4 for criteria again if you can't answer anything about those 4 requirements then they ain't legends period

Royce Street Hop album and Pryme album alone should get him the nod not to mention his chemistry with DJ Premier is ridiculous. You voters ? me. How you not a legend but got legend songs and albums? Only on the IC type ? again I guess.

    Boom is a great song

But i honestly dont remember when it 1st dropped. I came across the track years later while listening to a Detroit mix by Rude Jude on Shade45

    Did it get mass appeal?

Or was it a hidden gem?

It don't have to sell crazy to be a classic. He spit the perfect lyrics to that kinda beat. Some MC's get devowered by a tight beat. He fought that Preemo beat to perfection.

I didnt ask if he has classics songs

I asked if he ever had a "hit" song....

I ask this because Trick had multiple hit songs

    Talib had 1

    Did Royce ever have one?
