3. what imprint have they left in the game not just regionally but universally
4.who did they influence
simple as that if you cant answer any of those then you not a legend -

When they first started making rap records the earliest rappers and rap groups might have only released a couple of 12" singles. But there's artifacts that prove their impact; flyers, tapes, video footage, etc.
Kurtis Blow, Melle Mel, Grandmaster Caz, Kool Moe Dee, Spoonie G, Funky 4+1, etc. are all legends but none of them have a classic album.
You'd sound stupid saying that Grandmaster Flash isn't a legend, but he doesn't have classic album. -

It don't have to sell crazy to be a classic. He spit the perfect lyrics to that kinda beat. Some MC's get devowered by a tight beat. He fought that Preemo beat to perfection. -
