It could be because there are actual physical things to prove that Aristotle and Plato existed. There are many books written about those guys where as the bible ? and the biblical Jesus have no real artefactual evidence nor do multiple books outside of Christianity speak about them.

There are plenty of secular accounts for the existence of Jesus Christ. I thought you were a student of history?

No there are secular account for the existence of Jesus of Nazareth. Most of which have no divinity in them at all.

    Jesus Christ.... Nope.

"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26:41

When I yeild to the spirit I have victory, but when I trust in my flesh I fall. I am a sinner my friend. The chief of all sinners. I am totally vile, totally corrupt, totally ? . My whole nature is at enemity with ? . But thanks be to ? that He provided me with a way of escape, which is through my Lord Jesus Christ. It is only in Him that I can experience victory. And when I listen and obey Him, I do get the victory. But as long as I am on this earth in this sinful flesh, the ? of the eyes, the pride of life, and the thoughts of heart will continue to plague me because I am a sinner. But I am redeemed. And because I am redeemed I no longer let sin have the mastery over me. But yes, I do still slip and fall. Thank ? that i have somebody who will lift me up when I fall though. I go to Jesus Christ with all my hurts, troubles, pains, and sins. And because He is a faithful high priest, He cleanses me and forgives all my iniquities. Hallelujah!

" 8If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
    1 John 1:8-10

Of course they don't have divinity attached to the secular accounts, note the key word, secular.

I keep it 100 bro. I fornicated before, I ain't got to lie to you. I have to answer to ? my friend. I have to give Him an account for all my actions. But thanks be to ? that my sins are forgiven and covered in the blood of Christ. But does this give me a licesnse to continue on in sin? ? FORBID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? ? forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?" Romans 6:1-2

I need help my friend. The devil is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. My flesh is weak and corrupt. And the world is filled with everything that pleases the eye and the heart. If I didn't have Christ as my Savior I would be lost without hope. ? have mercy.

And ? is nice and warm...... come on son... don't give in that easy. Jesus is like marriage bro, and you're too young to be tied down.

I say go have ? til you're 40 and then spend thee next 40 years repenting.

Or just learn the truth, ? wants you to hulk smash hoes, when he wants you to quit ? he'll let you know. If you choose Viagra at that time then you're spitting in gods face..... not the best choice of words, but you get the point.

I've had my fill of women and guess what? I always wanted more. More, more, more, more, more. My eyes were never satisfied. My heart was never content. My desire was never filled. I was empty my brother. After you get your nut, then what? Nothing. It's on to the next one. And then the next one, and then the next one, and then the next one. When does it end? It doesn't my friend. If you are a slave to fornication, he will be your master. A lot of people have figured it out the hard way, thus they have contracted STD's. ? will not be mocked. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap the consequences. I thank ? that He spared me from STDs and that He didn't ? me. If ? would have, He would be just in doing so. When we violate Gods commands there are prices to be paid. I no longer seek to mock ? by continuing on in sin.

Well they do say aint no ? like new ? . So I don't see the strange part of wanting more. And if I was ? as many women as you I'd feel empty to.

But I am married so I can't say much more to you.

Wow, you all are intitled to your views on ? . But to challenge the Bible is to challenge your own place in society. Pretty much everything that surrounds us today stems from the structure thas was passed down through the many great civilizations that spanned the Bible. The political and religious mix that was born out of Constantinople laid much of the ground work for all socieites and the influence of Christianity in those societies.

Now, as to Jesus Christ, history supports the crucifiction. Also, many diciples were given the chance to recant what they had seen as far as Christ rising. Even under circumstances of death they didn't recant their accounts. The Bible is Holy and inspired by ? . If you have never felt Gods presence then I do not expect you to understand. I will just check for you at the day of judgement. Imma pass you a cup of ice water for your trip down the elevator.

Who goes around trying to dispute Plato or Aristotle? Nobody. But yet, the Bible has more manuscripts than any of those books you mentioned and yet people still try to discredit it's authenticity, its authorship, and it's authority. Go figure.

many people try and show that Plato and aristotle's works are rubbish. But it's much mroe difficult than showing the bible is rubbish, which has been done for centuries now

Tis true, enter not into temptation, deny the tempter it's offerings as soon as we become aware of it.

The bible WAS NOT witnessed by people that witnessed acts of Jesus or ? . It is a made up story. A creation. Did you know that outside of the Bible their IS NO PROOF that Jesus ever existed? Their were thousands of Historians that documented everything that happened during the "time of Jesus." Not one of them documented a fiqure that went around healing the sick, walking on water, performing miracles and feeding 5k people with a few loaves and 2 fish. WTH?

I challenge anyone to show me a documented Historian(s) that wrote about a figure known as Jesus. You Can't. And please don't quote Josephus. That tiny paragraph has been proven thousands of times to be a forgery. Don't worry, I'll wait....

Yet I can give over a 1000 religions, starting with the Egyptians, that all share an alarming similarity with the story of Jesus. If you study the Egyptian religion it seems like the story of Jesus was damn near plagiarized.

Did you know that studies show that the more intelligent someone is the less likely they are to believe in Jesus or any other man made Gods? I intensely studied Christianity my entire life, even Supreme Court documents. I have deeply studied Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Catholicism, Buddhism and Christianity. I have recently started studying Jainism and that is an interesting religion. If you can study religions without emotions, fear or biases, it is very eye-opening.

I have also lightly studied Allah and his teachings. I study for my own knowledge and enlightenment, and the results are the same.

One more time for the sheep. Who says that the word of ? is in the Bible? You quote the very book that is in question, do you realize that the only reason people say that the bible is gods word because it says so in the Bible. That is not truth. It's called covering ones ass. All of these characteristics that you and others use to describe ? ; vengeful, angry, those are human characteristics and are NOT those of a supreme being.
