My Hart.

My Heart is only used for pumping blood thru-out my body. I know that now.
See, before, it use to lead to places where it only hurt me.
Lead me to do things that i now regret.
Made me say things, like it was my Mouth.
It Thought for me like my Brain should have.
It had me reacting irrationally and hurting others like it.
My Heart controlled my appetite like it was my stomach. Having me not eating.
Controlled my throat, having me thirsty and having me drinking.
My Heart would race real fast like my Legs over a big butt and a smile.
And act like my Hands, and spend money.
It got so broken up that my Brain had to take over when it matured.

Now i think before i talk and im more sensitive to other Hearts, and i eat when im hungry and dont drink only because im lonely. And can walk away from a big butt and a smile to and pass up cheap thrills, and i spend my money on me and my bills.

I think a lot of poets go thru that stage where we put our writings on hold for a long duration of time for various reasons..

Its always good to pick up the paper and pen again though, glad you did that..
