This summer was probably the greatest summer in hip-hop in MUSIC HISTORY. What started off as a typical year with Eminem leading the wave dropping recovery and selling every record possible, we also got some nice music from Big Boi, Rick Ross, Drake, Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, and various other artist. But, to top it all off, we recieved the unprecedented hits by both "Based Gawd" and B. Pumpa. Two of raps most respected lyrical word smiths came through, like hurricanes do, and shut down the summer with two of the greatest summer songs in hip hop history. Rivaling "summertime" by Will Smith, both men released respective Billboard hits "Wonton Soup" and "Oh, And it's Shaved"

Now...that the summer has died down and fall has come, both men and their bright futures are destined to rival that of Nas and Jay-Z in the early 2000's. But for now, let us rejoice, debate, and enjoy two classic musical pieces in hip hop history...

My opinion, though "Oh, And it's shaved" musical linguistic mastery and imitation "Every girl" Young Money instrumental was savory, "Wonton" soup by the pretty ? was too much of a ride of verbal braggadocios concious raps and a meaty bowl of triple entendres and lyrical metaphors.
