Mayweather on the cards...Then maybe he'll go see Paq, this will give him enough time to get the roids out of his system

You right, Buff if Mayweather wins this one, and Paq wins his match its only gonna build the anticipation. They will fight, and when they do them ? gettin PAID. I cant call it though, Mayweather's faster and has great defense but I think Mosley has the power advantage and he's quick. This is gonna be a good fight, not as big as Paq would be but a big fight nonetheless.

I'll believe it when Michael Buffer is screaming....lets get ready to rumbllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllle!!!.....naw but seriously this is the next best thing....a great defensive fighter with accurate counter punching and speed....vs a jab specialist.....knockout power and very good speed....and mosely can prevent mayweather from using space in the middle of the ring....mosely has a good chance....I honestly don't know who is gonna win this fight.....but it won't be the usual boring mayweather fight....mosely is gonna make him fight....

    Jab specialist? LOL

Intriguing fight nonetheless. Floyd should get the victory. He's the younger, quicker man at this stage in both their careers and frankly Shane doesn't have the intagibles in his style to beat Floyd. I've said it over and over, Floyd would've beaten Shane at any point in their careers. Though he had terrific speed in his early days, Shane never could deal with boxers and guys that moved well in the ring. He's a mid range fighter that uses his JAB as a range gauge to set up his leaping power shots. To offset Floyd's rhythm you need a stiff, straight jab and you have to at some point fight a negative fight to force him to come out of his shell. Shane simply doesn't have the tools to accomplish that.

Mayweather has a clause in the contract that if he loses there will be an immediate rematch. So in theory, if Mayweather loses, expect Mayweather vs Mosley again right away. Regardless though, Mayweather wins UD. I doubt a TKO, but I wouldn't be surprised. He needs to make a statement with this fight.

    MAYWEATHER-MOSLEY DONE DEAL!
    By G. Leon

Moments ago future hall of famer "Sugar" Shane Mosley informed Boxingtalk.com that his mega-fight with undefeated pound for pound Picasso Floyd Mayweather Jr is a done deal for May 1 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mosley, who will receive a flat guarantee with incentives on the back end of the pay-per-view. informed Boxingtalk.com that he has granted Mayweather an immediate rematch clause. Full interview to follow shortly.

I agree with you, that was just a little dry humor... and I expected that clause as well.

He's going to dance the whole fight with Mosley.

Thing is Mosley actually has the tools to beat him plus he hates Mayweather so it should make it better because Mosley is going to go at him.

Don't believe the hype. They are very good friends. They actually chill here and there as stated by both men on different occasions even after the Mosley/Mayweather WWE style argument that happened after the Marquez fight(anyone find it extremely ironic HHH walked down to the ring with Mayweather on his last fight?).. Controversy sells. Why you think Mayweather acts the way he does now? He sure as hell wasn't making this kind of money when he was trying to be respectful. And what do you know, neither was Shane but he will come May 1st. Mayweather said they play basketball together and Shane has said that Mayweather is actually really nice when they aren't around a lot of people/cameras.

If anything Shane is envious of Mayweather because of the success of his career and how he's the cash cow in boxing.. next to Manny that is.

well i hope Floyd whoops the dogshit out of Mosely for comin in on his post fight and demanding a fight...that was sooooooo disresectful....lol....but this should be a good fight, hopefuly Mosely's early activity doesn't wear him down in the late rounds where Mayweather excels and hopefully he gets points early against Floyd cuz if it goes to the cards i think PBF wins it by split decision.

Manny is the cash cow in boxing?

Before Floyd came back he did the most PPV #s in his absence and even outsold Mayweather's latest PPV with Cotto. Now I've made the argument before that Mayweather is a bigger draw because he did 1m with Marquez (who he and Pac couldn't even break the 350k mark) but Pac and Cotto together did 1.2m with their solid bases. Lookin' at the numbers Mayweather did higher #s when they fought the same opponent, but to say Pac is not a cash cow at the moment in boxing along with Mayweather right now would be a bit naive IMO. Will be very interesting to see how the public responds to Pac/Clottey. That will be a true testament to his buying power. The fight is only a few weeks away and from what I hear Clottey's trainer can't even get a visa to get into the country as of yet, lol. Talk about a ? up situation..

Oh yeah, Mayweather would and will whip both Mosley/Pac ? when they fight ;)

when this fight happens it will have been 16 months since shane last fought. i know he stays in top shape; but there is a chance, like with most boxers that he can get old in that ring real fast. i still got mayweather by a decision

Manny and Floyd are both cash cows... thats why they still getting paid fighting other people instead of fighting each other so soon. When that happens only one will remain a cash cow, IMO
