You knew right off the who they were. Does anyone find it strange that B.F.G. took place in Daytona the city that first witnessed the biggest swerve in wrestling history Hogan joining the NWO. I just saw B.F.G it's looks like TNA tried to recreate that moment from 15 yrs ago.

its actually really surprising if you keep up with TNA, so therefore it was good. 90% of people thought it'd be Anderson, 9% Angle and less than 1% Hardy. i think it'll work out and be interesting. ive never liked Hardy, ever, but i do now. he'll be feuding with RVD first and that should be cool.

Yeah. Think about it.Since Abyss was supposed get fired after the BFG, "They" had to be someone with power, Namely Bischoff and Hogan. The only surprise was Jeff Hardy, I thought it be Anderson.

Sure, but they shouldn't have picked the most obvious people either. Which is why everybody hates the angle, plus people are tired of Hogan, Bischoff, and Jarrett anyway.

I agree, Jeff Hardy has been a pleasant surprise. His forgiveness promo was the best he's ever done.

    So "They" are..............returning...........
Last Thursday on TNA iMPACT!, Amazing Red’s “little” brother (officially known as “Crimson”) put Abyss in a chokehold backstage and delivered a cryptic message to him: “They are coming.”

“They” will mark the return of the Main Event Mafia and will consist of Kurt Angle and Scott Steiner, and possibly Sting, Kevin Nash and Booker T.

Steiner returned to TNA at last Wednesday’s iMPACT! taping and participated in a cliff hanger ending. He donned a suit reminiscent of his time in the Main Event Mafia. Angle is penciled in for the group, and many within the organization expect Sting to be too.

Many in TNA presume that Nash is on board for the group. However, he adamantly said last week on Twitter that he is not because he is retired. Internally, many believe Nash is kayfabing his absence from TNA, but those close to him indicate he’s legitimately retired.

Booker T’s status remains unknown at this point, other than he wasn’t believed to have signed as of last week. Some were pleased with his departure from the organization in October 2009 as there were complaints about his performance, attitude, refusal to put over Matt Morgan in a match, and his own admission that he was using the company as a way to audition for acting roles.

Bobby Lashley has been mentioned by those in TNA as a possible member of the group. However, those affiliated with the mixed martial artist don’t believe he’s returning to the wrestling organization. Lashley is currently a free agent as his contract with Strikeforce expired following his loss to Chad Griggs in August. The only thing of note he has done since then is work a wrestling match for the Japanese promotion Inoki Genome Federation (IGF) in September. He is not tentatively not scheduled for any upcoming shows.

“They” would initially feud with Immortal and Fortune. The angle begins on the Feb. 3 iMPACT!.

    source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

So that's the reason for the re-signing of Poppa Pump, and the rumor of Kevin Nash returning late last week and even before then. Also, Booker wrestled a match in place of RVD on a recent tour, so all the pieces are coming into place.

if this is all true, it'll be one of the most anti-climatic feuds and one big cluster ? in TNA history. They'll make a big deal out of it, and it won't feel like anything. I wish good on the promotion, but they lack the energy to make things believable.

im trying to figure out if TNA actually thinks doing these types of angles make a dent in the industry.

the writing is so ? poor that with the names involved, it means nothing. They put over the most over the hill wrestlers in the business in angles that should be going to up and coming wrestlers who need the exposure, but even then, the writing is so ? , it'll make the young guys look like duds. There's no energy because you have a bunch of old men talking ? to one another and eventually one gets caught by himself and jumped. With Fortune involved, I highly doubt they will get put over on MEM, and if they do get over on them, oh well, OK, you beat a bunch of old guys.

it's not about another nWo/black & white/ red & black/ Wolf Pac incarnation, it's about TNA trying to resurrect and drag out an angle they believe was their recent success and trying to cash in on it again. It's not a good business deal because they're draining their purse for no payoff in the end because the writers won't know how to elevate the younger talent involved once the angle is over. They'll all go back to their midcard status.
