I had somewhat of a hard time accepting that Nicki Minaj shared any similarities to Eminem. But lets run this down real quick and then I'll get to the main point of this thread.

Label/Movement:
Nicki Minaj - Young Money Cash Money; first lady of the team
Eminem - Aftermath Entertainment; white boy that can spit

Production of first album (on a major label):
Nicki Minaj - Somewhat average, but mostly laughable
Eminem - Somewhat average, but mostly laughable, ESPECIALLY from the man who made ? /Chronic/NWA/etc.

Gimmicks:
Nicki Minaj - Harakjuku Barbie and faux-British accents/voices
Eminem - Big-Bird-from-Sesame-Street yelling with a high pitched voice and Ken Kaniff

Subject matter:
Nicki Minaj - Money, fame, sex, hoodrat love, and critics/haters
Eminem - Being white, family issues, drugs, growing up impoverished, shock/horrorcore tales

Targeted demographic:
Nicki Minaj - 13-30 year old females and ? males
Eminem - most likely white people in general and anyone who loves lyricism and flow

With these things in mind, can we have an honest discussion on the comparison between Pink Friday and SSLP? I personally think Minaj's album is a watered down SSLP and should be treated as such.
