Charlie Weis to accept UF Job!

Just saw before the start of the UCF vs Georiga game that Chris Mortensen is reporting that Charlie Weis will become Offensive coordinator at UF after the Chiefs finish the playoffs.

If he takes this job I'd be quite happy, he's a great O-coordinator. Bad HC.

    What was his NFL Paycheck Looking like do u know? cuz i would rather be in the NFL being a Offensive Coordinator , he's a hell of a OF Coordinator ...did good with the pats and Chiefs this year....

    im assuming they giving him Head coach type money for him to up and leave....

    but maybe he feels like if he does a good job at FLA. as a Coordinator then someone else will take a chance again with him as a head coach....

    he probably still has a bitter feelings from notre dame and wants to redeem himself ....you cant knock him though, alot of coaches learn from there failures and comeback to succeed

    edit...nvm i thought it said head coach....they probably throwing him dumb money to drop a level

    How do u know hes a bad hc? Notre Dame will never have a great D just intelligent O players and non talented D players. Notre Dame isnt a spot where top talent outside of QBs.

    haha. Gary Gray is probably one of the best corners in the league, Teo? Floyd? Rudolph? Seriously. Unused talent I will grant you. But that was Weis.

    Weis was garbage at ND, that's I how I know he isn't a good HC. I thought that was self explanatory. Probably could be good down the road I suppose.

    Read on PFT that he is taking the job to work with his son who went with Muschamp from Texas to Florida. I mean he still getting that ND money so maybe the chance to work with his son helped him take a pay cut? I know his pockets can't be hurting.
