What are some of the beats that you've heard and had no idea how the rapper made that beat hot?
I'll start it off with this garbage beat, that doesn't sound garbage when Eminem got on it.

Matter of fact a huge majority of MMLP had trash beats.
I think Dre lowkey wanted to disrespect Eminem.

Lol no doubt, but that's why I posted the instrumentals.
Now you think the beats are dope but that's because you're imagining ems lyrics over them. And you know how to ride those beats now.
If you just had a tape full of instrumentals and someone told u to pick random Dre beats, you'd definitely skip those and go for the California loves, Nuthin but a g thang, next episodes etc. That being if no one ever rhymed over it.

Because he can take a trash beat and make it hot. You are essentially listening to the lyrics and not the beat.
Where as today the rappers are spoiled and rely on dope beats to carry them. I.e rozay -
