Yeah, it's not as simple as I'm making it sound. They've kinda explained it in the comics, but it's still funny when you just see it randomly. -

If these movies/shows are all connected this would be a good time to put that on display. But I understand that it's politics involved. -

Honesty, it mostly depends on who they get to play the characters. Just about every character in this MCU was relatively unknown, outside of avid comic readers, besides The Hulk and Spiderman. If RDJ, Chris Evans, Scar Jo and them were trash in their roles these movies wouldn't have got as far as they did.
