Yu darvish was tippin his pitches in the world series. That's why he got rocked
-
Ozuna was someone I wanted the Braves to possibly try and acquire. ? get Kemp or Markakis old ? outta here
-
-
Ohtani sprained his UCL. He needs surgery. Angels lost...
-
according to the article it was documented on the physical from october that all teams had access to during their preps for him and every team was still gonna give the moon for him if they could
its a minor sprain thats being treated
doesnt require tommy john or any other surgery at this time
i honestly wouldnt be overly concerned if im an angels fan from everything i heard/read
tanaka has dealt with this his entire MLB tenure and hes still been one of the best AL starters during that stretch -
-
We've traded Ozuna to the Cardinals
-
I'm out on the Marlins. Just gonna enjoy the sport from a distance -
and then there was one
from what was arguably the best outfield in baseball -
mike matheny on mlb network hinted that multiple impact bats could be coming to stl
theyve been hot and heavy on colome
could certainly see a longoria/colome package deal now that the rays have essentially came out and said they will rebuild -
Marlins are shopping Yelich too
-
oh man
yelich would be a perfect fit with the cubs
a perfect fit with most any team
but a seamless one with the cubs
cubs mostly only have mlb talent to offer that doesnt fit the marlins timeline though -
Theo traded all the good prospects for bums/rentals so cubs have no chance at yelich I've been a yelich fan for years
Machado about to get traded. Yankees can get dude if they really want -
They should trade Realmuto too. Doesn't deserve to be on this stripped down joke of a team

I'm hearing giolito,anderson and possibly cease/dunning -
still doubt machado is coming to the south side but if it happens
seems like 2 options that dont warrant immediately firing hahn
1. extend machado
2. flip him for prospects
it could even be to attempt (1) and have (2) as a backup plan — either way — i would be interested to see what (2) would look like — presumably this would be to the yankees who the orioles dont want to trade machado to and it seems like the Os prefer to dip into the white sox deep well of young pitching -- i think i would take any of the below (though C is close and the least appealing of the three)
package A: gleyber/adams
package B: adams/florial/andujar/perez
package C: frazier/sheffield/acevedo
i could get behind something like this
pitching prospects are so much more volatile than hitters
so if they can flip giolito and cease or some ? for machado and in turn flip him for torres
OH BABY -
I’m confused why the Chi Sox would be buyers after being a seller last few seasons.

Yankees could just wait til next winter why give up top prospects for machado when they can sign frazier for 1 year? wait til next year and sign machado -
somebody needs to lock down kenny
he cant be loose at these winter meetings with all these prospects in his pocket
it wont end well
hahn a couple days ago was saying the team was a year away from trading prospects for long term cost controlled vets and he explained very logically why that is so if all of a sudden they trade kopech (smfh) for an expiring machado then it means kenny and jerry got involved because this would go completely against what hahn was been preaching since he has been handed over the reins -
I like every move theo has made so far. Smart signings,Not blowin money fast
building up the bullpen with solid pitchers if justin wilson can bounce back it makes it even better(Don't want davis back, please let him walk)
Read yesterday cubs were talkin to the indians about salazar. I said how the cubs operate in the off season will tell me what their future plans are.
This definitely makes me think the cubs are going in for bryce harper next winter -

i think the cubs are going to have a disappointing offseason for some fans (the meatheads) but the cubs are well in position to grab a big fish next offseason to the point where its worth it to spend wisely right now
i expect the cardinals to make a big move this offseason whether thats trading for machado or donaldson or something else
the cubs will be fine in the long run though
