Fergie was there for a 100 years...Pep did it after a year n a half lmao

Wenger has achieved similar goals in the PL. And he has done more. He already did the second year league win.

I mean let's kick the ballistics. Man City already had world class players throughout the squad and they got unlimited funds. It's not that difficult.

Managers like Wenger and Fergie built Arsenal and United to where they are at now. Pep ain't building ? .

Man City have won the league. The real test is winning the CL.

Different times man, Ferguson didn't win ? 5 seasons straight - didn't even get close to the top 3 - and Man U always had money...fam had time and resources at his disposal and used it, broke transfer fees for defenders on multiple occasions, Fergie was ballin lol...so he had 5 seasons to build while nowadays Pep would have been sacked if he lost his first 5 games man lol.

Wenger is one of the greatest that ever did it regardless of the drought...

But let's not act like the likes of Bergkamp, Ian Wright, Martin Keown etc weren't already at Arsenal when Wenger arrived man. He also started with great players and signed loads of em through the years....? first thing he did was sign Veiera and Anelka lol.

Wenger keeping Arsenal in Champions League competition and in the top 4 for ? knows how many years of spending nothing shouldn't be sniffed it. Any other manager with such a ? board wouldn't have been able to do what he's done.

Jose dragged a no hope Porto team to CL glory. Jose gets the job done: he couldn't care how pretty the football is.

Fergie rebuilt team after team, did the treble and stayed at the top of the game throughout his time at Man Ure.

It's easy for Pep to play the football he wants when he has the unlimited funds cheat code switched on. He had to burn through three goalkeepers alone just to be satisfied with that position.

All true but thats why times are different. Like northside said, Pep is expected to win the CL..while Jose, Wenger n Fergie werent even expected to win the league let alone the CL when they first started at Porto, Man U n Arsenal...no pressure whatsoever...

Nowadays coaches at Crystal Palace (lol) and Everton are under the same pressure as a Real madrid coach lol. Mofos get sacked with the quickness.

Unlike Wenger n Jose, Pep played top flight footy at Barca and could therefore start his coaching career at Barca B ..and moved on to other clubs with unlimited funds...instead of parking the bus like Fergie used to do and Jose does, he plays total footbal and got people saying its the the best prem team theyve ever seen.

Again, look up Fergies stats...it took him 5 seasons to get things on track and turned into one of the legends in the game...all with unlimited resources at his disposal...started winning less when the likes of Chelsea and later city became high rollers...that's time modern day coaches like Pep won't get...look at Bosz, Tuchel, Koeman etc.

? Koeman is a great example...Fergie wasnt perfect and had some bad phases asswell...the board kept faith in him and gave him time - how it should be imo - while Koeman got sacked...

Wenger is a goat for sure but half of those top 4 finishes were done during an era where (sans the season Blackburn won it) the prem was a two horse race between Arsenal n Man U...plus he didnt spent nothing, he spent wisely, when the markets were different - cheaper - and league lvls werent as different...copped Overmars for example....

when Fergie rebuild a team he splashed the cash aswell...or we acting like he didnt break world transfer fees for Stam n Rio? One of his last signings was Van Persie beating unlimited funds city when Mancini n city really wanted the Persian...

? where the respect for Van Gaal at? He build a team full of youngsters with less resources than Fergies man U, ? with not even half the budget Joses Porto had and won the treble without losing a single match...

    Excuze the titangraph lol
