The cubs(theo & jed) flew to dallas yesterday to meet yu darvish.
If they can him for 4 years 90-110(5th year buyout/club/vesting option) I'm gonna be hyped. Hope they can make it happen, that rotation would be best in mlb -

they missed the boat on dealing him if they are asking for guys like that in return
marlins anagement has taken a ton of ? this off season and rightfully so but i think they are in a better place than the orioles going forward — angelos refusal to trade his veterans away at peak times is a huge problem — he also forfeits the chance at signing foreign amateur talent for no reason — he really sells that fanbase short
at least the marlins will be bad enough to potentially draft franchise altering talent
baltimore will stay in the middle -

rays were in a tough spot as they had enough quality pieces to be a decent team but never were going to be able to compete with the red sox and yankees with that core

I'm gonna give schwarber the benefit of the doubt cuz there have been times I wanted him traded asap(cuz he a DH)
But he's put in mad work this offseason lost 20 pounds, training doing agility drills daily so he can become a better fielder/player
got this feeling he gonna wreck shop in 2018 -
