I Have A question about weight training.

im 6 ft 5 245

im cool with my weight. now i just want to build muscle..... how in the hell do i do it??!!

i was weight training for 3 months straight and all i did was lose weight. i was in the gym lifting 200 50 times.

do i have to eat alot or what. and also i want to stay at 245. any help?

    Patience...

    what the hell do you think is going to happen while you work out?

    Chances are you didn't do alot of physical activity for a few years and your body is just getting it's muscle memory back first, and then you will start to build more muscle... Continue to lose the weight... That way as you are developing the muscle you will have a more solid look...

    Just be PATIENT!

    i would just go in. and use every machine. and do 3 sets of 20.

    with about 200 and up.

    so the bench press
    shoulder press thing.

    i would curl 30s 50 times.

    stuff like that. 3 times a week.



    and jamel if i lose anymore weight i will be too little. im tryna play football

    you need to start by making goals for yourself prior to just running in the Gym...

    If you are trying to play football then you are going to need functional muscle that will help you succeed better in football....
    Kinda like me and fighting...
    If I were you, find what ever position you want to play for and see what the College and Pro footballer's do to stay in shape...

    Either way... Get a schedule, because if your just going in their and using every machine, then it sounds like you are more or less doing high reps low weight circuit training.. which is going to cause you to burn body fat due to it being a form of cardio...
