Two of my favorite under the radar releases of the last few years have been the last two proper solo releases from Esoteric (of AOTP and 7L and Esoteric), Egoclapper and the cool concept album Saving Seamus Ryan. Both great album that did not get the attention that Esoteric's work with 7L and AOTP usually get.

Atmosphere-When Life Gives You Lemons -
Gift of Gab's solo debut- I found it in a bargain bin....I kid you not!!! The was a good album by the West Coast lyricist, who found out from listening to Lyrics Born. I love the album....the lyricism ( Gift of Gab has so many styles and insight as well), production and DJ scratching are tight. I need to get another copy of it!!!!
