What are some mangas you believe to be underrated?

listed in no particular order.

I think these are all mangas that start off slow/boring/ pointless, but they eventually evolve into your typical fighter shonen.

1. History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi: There is some bad ass fights later on in the series, and Kenichi goes from being a skinny punk, to be swole, and one step below a Master class martial artist.

2. Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Meh, if you read this I would start at chapter 64. It was a gag manga that turned into a fighter after the sells got too low. It's okay, the arcs drag on a lot though. I read it when I have nothing else to do.


3. One Piece. I still say this is the GOAT manga after you get into the story. To be honest, the story is better written than Naruto and Bleach. The story starts to pick up during the Arlong Park arc.

4. Fairy Tail: Not for everyone, but I enjoy it.

5. Veritas: a Korean martial arts manga. It makes my top 5 manga list.

6. The Breaker: another Korean manga, it makes my top 10, maybe top 5 in the future.

7. Hunter X Hunter. #2 in my top 5 list. (from the creator of Yu Yu Hakusho)

8. Kekkashi. Good read, I'll put it over Bleach. Gets really interesting after the main characters older brother is introduced.

9. Claymore. Up there with Berserk.

10. Bio-meat Nectar: good short series to read. horror genre.

    i tried, couldnt get into one piece for ? . but i ve been hanging after they came back from being gone for 2 years so i'll c whassup.

    i ? wit breaker, trying to c where its going.

    never tried hunter x hunter...might, might try kenichi 2.

    i like the breaker so i'll eventually give veritas a try of your co sign.


    naruto is my current #1 though

    yeah, outta all those I def gotta recommend Veristas, and Hunter X Hunter.

    Unfortunately, they are both on hiatus.

    It starts off kind of slow, but when you get the the middle of the skypeia arc, the story starts to pick up. There's some real good fights, here was my favorite page during that arc, lol.

    Story wise? That's the best thing about One Piece, and one of the reasons it's considered the best. One Pieces story is the reason it's currently the #1 all time selling manga. (plus it's real long, they up to chapter 610 now)
