lol
its jus the fact that dude know why folks compare the two
cuz they are big sec qb's who are black
they dont compare him to any other tall sec qb's
jus jamarcuss
but when he finally got to why he stumbled to say black and jus said tall instead
gtfoh rich eisen,
we know what you meant
but maybe he jus didnt wanna sound racist.
you know damn near everything can be racist nowadays(word to 2012)
but if he woulda jus told the truth and been like "they compare newton to russel because they are both AA qb's from SEC schools" i wouldnt even be mad.
cuz thats the truth
he jus made an ass out of himself for avoiding it
but he did give newton props by saying he is way ahead of jamarcuss and you shouldnt compare them -
im pretty sure they are being compared more because of cams future bust status
-
they also give black players props by bringing up dirt
"his mother was a drug addict who worked 3 jobs. the kid was raising his bastard siblings at the age of 6. thats a real leader"
like what
thats the best compliment you got??? -
nah i know what you mean especially if they was like "uhhh" but i was just sayin
-

im prepared to believe that cam's determination will help him along
dude seem the most prepared out of all of the guys at the combine
he treating this ? like a life or death interview
even the analysts all on his ? the past two days,? crazy.
they talkin bout he is no doubt a top 10 pick now because of his interview and combine scores
? silly -

so which way do you want it? at first you complain that they are ? on him then you complain that they are giving him props? -

oh no
im not complaining at all
im jus sayin its silly for rich eisen to bring that ? up and not go full circle with it
and its silly how espn & nfl network was doubting him
but
now he lookin all professional during the interview(shittin on mallet's interview)
and being all poise during the drills & they wanna crown him
thats jus silly to me.
how you gonna get enamored by an interview and a 40 time but doubt a season with 50 total td's -

Because its obvious (from history) that collegiate success does not always equate to pro success. -

your right
i honestly think that when it comes to offensive players the draft is a crapshoot
combine results and collegiate stats cant be definite when determining pro results
but i feel you shouldnt put one over the other
if its nothin to discount a guy's ncaa stats because "thats college' then it should be nothing to discount his interview because "its jus prepared rhetoric"
im pretty sure percy harvin told them gm's he was done with weed,
im pretty sure jamarcus russel told them gm's he neva touched lean,
and im sure cam gonna tell them all he is a born leader while flashing his million dollar grin -
I'll say this cam is for damn sure no jamarcus russell

Comparing Cam to Russell is like comparing MJ to Stackhouse.

i'd think you'd have more of a problem with the draft combine being like a big slave auction lol
