The Last Women Standing

Mother Earth greets us with darkness, as sun set dawns,
The sky is clear, and so is the air where no birds spawn.
Star’s above us so high that shine like a twinkle of an eye.
The cold air greets her warm cheeks as she avoids her thoughts from all the lies.
It is February 2011 and still nothing seems to constitute, for
Every time darkness arrives, those same feelings sink in deep emptiness
That she tries to elude.
An interlude of spring that still screams the death stench of her fallen bloodlines,
Loneliness is a constant reminder that they are all gone,
while she still remains on solid earth.
Numbness is all that its felt while memories are constant spew.
Still seeking justice for the murders of not only her baby brother but Rocko too,
Thus would give her sense of peace,
Alleviate the heart with nothing more to defeat but a few.
As I gaze thru the darkness night I can still see thru the dark,
the moon light creates a soft dark.
It is then I realize that even thru immense pain,
there is mere spectacle in mist of dark.
With time will heal even scars that ran deep, quiet as kept that never seeped.
I may be gone one day for if cancer never goes away,
But know that my spirit will reap through the depths of mountain and valley’s I will leap.
Even through the trenches that are high and steep.
My spirit will roam freely like a flying phoenix,
While my presence of existent shall still exist thru my bosoms,
In spring you will see lilac Nita, when flower’s blossom,
Sweet like Hawaii’s plumeria that so eloquently blooms.
It may not be today, or tomorrow, only time will only tell very soon,
Until then, I am the last women standing..
