"Life Water For Chocolate' is Common's best album. He was lyrically at his best at that point with it being his 4th LP and Dilla and the rest of the Soulquarians just blessed him with amazing production. 2nd Place is a toss up between "Resurrection" and "Be". It's crazy how slept on Common really is, he does have a solid catalog it's just his average to weak albums really bring down the catalog. But "LWFC" really hit me in a way that no Common LP had before it. "Be" is probably Common's most complete LP but I can't put it above "LWFC", that album was Classic from Top to Bottom. I'm still shocked it ended up going GOLD. -

Kanye and Dilla KILLED it!
I kinda wish it had about two more tracks b/c the album is on the short side. The album keeps building & building and then.... it just ends, leaving me wanting for more. But at the same time it's perfect the way it is.
Kanye? What, he was ghost producing or something? -

In my honest opinion, I think One Day It'll All Make Sense is his best album. To me, it was his most balanced album.

will always be personally the best album cause it was one of THE albums to get me into hip hop.

is a close second, Nuttin to do is one of my favorite Common songs ever

The Production on this album is dope, so ahead of its time IMO

Has some Amazing songs such as Retrospect for life
the other 2 discs i havent checked out and i have no intention on hearing Universal mind control after i heard a few tracks. -

I'mma say "Be". Resurrection & Like Water... are the only two other albums worth discussion with "Be". Common's catalog is pretty good.
