Well, right now its Race Week (Sailing Week) and it goes into Labour Day (next Monday). So, I don't have to tell you how it's going down. That bottle there finished last night (lasted two days) so I'm gonna have to buy another one tonight. That's an 18 yr old Scotch and because we're buying them in the VIP area, you know the prices are inflated.
Anyway, I'm off to the gym. Then later, we drink. lol -
this does prove something though. PSN is a LOT bigger than people say it is, all those PSN is always empty rants arent gonna hold much weight anymore. Sure, Sony will lose a few customers, just like the 360 has lost some over RROD, but in the long run, its not gonna matter much. Sony still has an AMAZING year for games in 2011.

"Sony has posted an updated PSN outage FAQ on the PlayStation Blog, and while some information it contains seems to reiterate things we already know -- "some services" will return within a week, you should monitor your credit card(s) -- new details have been brought to light.
First off, Sony is "working on a new system software update that will require all users to change their password once PlayStation Network is restored." It's also been confirmed that PSN is being physically rebuilt as a result of last week's intrusion. SCEA PR director Patrick Seybold states in the FAQ that the company is "moving our network infrastructure and data center to a new, more secure location, which is already underway."
Also revealed: While "the entire credit card table was encrypted" and there remains "no evidence that credit card data was taken," PSN's personal data table "was not encrypted, but was, of course, behind a very sophisticated security system." Not sophisticated enough, apparently." -

they should throw 15 bucks in everybody wallet -
15 bucks x 75 million PSN users?
not gon' happen. But I could see PSN+ folk getting an extra month, or a Sony PSN game goin free. I'm gonna bet a PS2 HD remake is gonna be free, maybe gow2 or prince of persia -

it wouldnt be like giving 15 bucks for everyone, we all would only be able to spend the money on the PS store anyway -

it would still be a HUGE loss for sony. a free game would cost them a lot less, and still make it seem like they did compensate. -

They're trying to keep their customers, so that no one leaves PS3/PSN for good for that 360.
Good move on Sony's part, they're smart. Think about it, no compensation so fans will rage more. People always think they're entitled to some compensation when something happens, people are ? stupid like that but whatever...
