I want locs but I like to wear my hair both curly/kinky/big&wild and straight. So thats a no go for me, at least not right now.

ive lived in Chicago, Kansas City, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Georgia and ive bagged many a chick w/ fros....and even a few of them BAGGED ME lmao (approached me)

You from the Chi and you've never seen locs like this a dudes? I have a bunch of homies roaming around here with locs and go on 71st St between Jeffery & South Shore, you'll see a lot of them. -

Thanks for the thread. I shave my head the end of December now I have a mini natural curly fro. Lol I was thinking about getting weave braids or getting dreads. Idk yet..

Im hanging more towards 79th and western and downtown...I guess its a small epidemic brewing... I like it alot though i hope it never ends -
I used to work over that way. But yeah I was out and about yesterday and saw mad cats with locs. And I ran into my homeboy on 63rd St beach, of course he got locs and all the Rasta's were over there too selling ? fish and chicken. Natural hair is beautiful...when i went natural it was liberating. I do not miss the perms, weaves, colors, etc. I love my hair and I Thank my father for it.

Well I'd have to say that is your personal experience. I have natural curly hair but besides me I know a lot of natural women who have never been nor will ever be checking for the "other man."
