I know I might appear kinda biased cuz Im from Baton Rouge (I go to Southern fwiw) but I'm going with Les Miles.
He is gonna go oall out to give his team a chance to win.
By that I mean fake field goals and going for it on 4th down.
Plus, his crazy antics takes pressure off the players by drawing attention to himself, which he admitted is the reason he acts the way he does at times. -

One does not need to be from BR to go with Les, he is a great coach. -

Everybody knows I'm the resident Oklahoma fan, but if the team is notwithstanding (as in they were both coaching some random team) I'd probably pick Les Miles...
....Yep. Les Miles. Why? Cause I actually had a cousin that played for him at Oklahoma State, and a old friend that played for Bob Stoops at Oklahoma.
And from what I hear, Bob Stoops is the college football version of...
and Les Miles is more like...
lol. Real talk. Bob Stoops is known for running them boyz hard as ? and not giving a fucc about who is a star and who ain't. Which is really just the Oklahoma way (word to the 30 for 30 Marcus Dupree episode).
So I'm sure playing for Les Miles is "easier".
But if I wanted to play on a big stage and get to the pinnacle -- I'm going for Stoops, 'cause nobody has made it to more BCS title games than him, and he get's the most out of his players. (The team he won the Nat'l Championship with was the least talented team he's had at Oklahoma -- go figure.)
Not to mention Stoops pulled Oklahoma from the wreckage of the 90s whereas Miles arrived at LSU with top recruits waiting for him.
And it's not really a contest when you compare the stats either. Stoops has a chip, with 7 conference titles, multiple major COY awards, and a better overall record.
Plus Stoops has more of a championship pedigree. One title as a head coach, and one as Florida's defensive coordinator. Whereas Miles only has one as LSU's head coach with Saban's leftovers. -

Miles: 1
Bowl Record:

BCS Appearances:
Stoops: 8 (4 BCS Title games/ 3-5 record.)
Miles : 2 (1 BCS Title game/ 2-0 record.)

*Notes: While Stoops took over a more prestigious program in Oklahoma as his first HC gig, OSU was actually doing better in recruiting in the late 90s than Oklahoma was. -

No "great" coach should have a losing record in bowls, after UO NC Stoops became meek. It seems as though he's far less successful when he plays a decent team outside of the Big 12. I honestly think that his NC win was a FLUKE!
Stoops: 8 (4 BCS Title games/ 3-5 record.)
Miles : 2 (1 BCS Title game/ 2-0 record.)
^^ Reinforces my point.

Miles : 0
^^ So what?
School records the year *before* they arrived:
Stoops: OU (5-6 John Blake)
Miles: Ok. St (5-6) *LSU* (9-3 Nick Saban)
^^ So he won with Blake's recruits right? Once again I propose this simple question to you: has Stoops won a NC with HIS recruits?
