In a tight close-game situation. Jason Richardson just missed a dunk to tie the game Vs. the Spurs. If he would have just layed it up, they would have tied...but noooo...let's be flashy cause i'm 2 time dunk champ...

i cant even be mad at him. ive seen many a lay-up roll of the rim in "gimme" situations. now if he tried a 360 like he did against cleveland, i could blame him

i still think u gotta dunk the ball....unless u wanna go out like reggie miller did with Tayshaun Prince
? then if u get your layup blocked, the complaint is "WTF, HE SHOULDA DUNKED THE DAMN BALL"
but that J-Rich thing just got me mad as hell....then Steve Nash passed up the potential game tying 3...smfh -
a dunk is a higher percentage shot than a lay-up so you go for the strong finish at the basket and dunk the ball. You don't try something fancy though.

Just do a simple dunk that's twice he missed a dunk doin some BS remember Lebron blocked him doin a 360 last year i believe

He had the right idea but use TWO HANDS next time ? !

LOL man that miss dunk was the dagger for the suns they would have tied it up, but even with that miss dunk by Jason the Dunk is still far more affected then a layup. To be more specific I would say a 2 handed dunk is the greatest ask Dwight Howard which is more affected.

If you can dunk, go 'head and dunk, just keep it simple. ? don't get style points during actual games......

I think he did the right thing. Just didn't seal the deal! My stomach hurts after that one!
