the impact of Get Rich or Die tryin is undeniable but i think the overall quality of the album is overhyped!! yes it does contain some of 50-Cents best songs like "Many Man" but in my honest opinion The Massacre had alot more bangers on it then GRODT.
not only did 50 brainwash us to think he was so superior to Ja Rule, but we are also brainwashed into thinking GRODT is the superior albums because of the hype and sells.
The Massacre had bangers like "Ryder Music", "Baltimore Love Thing", "In My Hood", "Im Suppose To Die Tonight', "Ski Mask Way", "Gunz Come Out", '? Gave Me Style", "Position of Power", "This Is 50".
GRODT is limited to "Backdown", "Many Men", 'patiently Waiting", 'Dont Push Me" "Heat", and "High All The Time" the rest of the albums is commercial ? like the singles like "in Da Club" and "21 Questions" or just plan garbage like "? " and "if I Cant".

Understandable.
The follow up to classics sometime hit harder..
I feel IWW > ILLmatic
Late Registration > College Dropout
... but i dont think The Massacare is >> GRODT.
The Masscare is that ? tho.. -

GRODT is not a classic if it is then "Country Grammer', "Thug Motivation", and "Hard Knock Life vol.2" are not doubt classic LPs also. -

If GRODT isn't a classic, i'm not sure how Ready to Die is a classic. -

Ready or Die is light years ahead of GRODt. GRODT is more comparable to Life After Death.
but all im saying is how the hell can a labum be classic with 4-5 good songs on it??? if this album is a classic then how many skippable tracks is a classic aloud to have??? -
Get Rich or Die Trying, we thought you was hot
Now the same ? wanna take us to the Candy Shop -
I don't know... I think GRODT is better then The Massacre but not by much. I was one of the few, from my friends and people I know that liked the Massacre when it came out and liked it even more over the years. Dope album and Fifs last good album.

GRODT had (and ? .. still has) mad ass replay value.
Its one of those albums where you could ask "whats your favorite song on the album" and you'll get multiple different answers.
Just like ILLmatic and Reasonable Doubt. -
i think i agree

nah i think GRODT was just filled with alot of individual popular songs. but more than half of them were wack lyrically. Production and Contraversy carried this album. Illmatic can be played all the way thru as well as Reasonable Doubt.
GRODT has to be the most commercial classic ive ever heard...... -
Yeah the T/S right. I said that the Massacre is better too...

GRODT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> anything else this ? came out with. GRODT= classic. The Massacre= 3.5/4.0 album. The rest of the trash he came out with isn't even worth discussing.
