Ross is easily the most improved rapper of the past decade. He went from cheesy Florida bass music, dubbed vocals, and remedial flow to outstanding production, reviting delivery, and a semi-quotable line damn near every verse.
Fabolous on the other hand... went from "I Won't Deny It" and "Damn" to a Jay-Z clone to a Drake clone. Ross would have done a much better job on "You Be Killin Em".
You want more proof?

If you talking from a lyrical standpoint, im not even taking you serious. From a musical standpoint, I feel you. Atleast Ross has direction. Fab is truly a sad case. All that talent, for what? No way anyone should be in the game this long and still be lost like he is.

at what? eating a BK BOSS with extra BOSS sauce?

Seriously? That verse was asscheeks. Maybe I've outgrown corny mixtape rapper punchlines, but Fab peaked with "Breathe" and it was pretty much downhill from there. -

Oh, he's not lost. He just keeps following everyone else instead of doing his own thing. -

If you mean lately then yeah i agree, but i have yet to see Rick make a song as nice as Breathe
-
Ima go ahead and post this...
Off topic, anyone else think that Fab and Ross had some sort of falling out between DTR and present day?.......they used tyo feature on each others tracks regularly and now its cooled off -
Fabolous really has no direction with his music..at the end of the day it has no value or meaning in life..Ross barely has any value at all either...I mean its good for what its worth..a couple hot punchlines and hot beats..a fast food meal
-
U know what from a overall standpoint, you're right. Of course with lyrics and punchlines Fab is better, but career for career right now he has fab in the choke hold. Its sad cuz fab has the talent just not the drive. He's satisfied with being okay. Ross may not be the best rapper, but you can't deny dude is improving with every album

This, Breathe is a lyrical magnum opus...and not that i care much for Billboard, but it peaked at 10 on the Hot 100, which is real great considering the content and structure of the song -
