If we talking Production only you may have a point (even if Im not sure about that one), but overall BP aint ? with RD. Jay was on a whole nother level on that one the ? he spit his lyrics, wordplay, metaphors the storystelling is crazy. Dead Pres, D'Evils, Friend Or Foe, Cant Knock The Hustle, Can I Live, Regrets, those are still some of the best songs he ever made. Only skip-joint is that Aint No N****

So? And because the source gave BP1 5 mics that automatically makes it a classic?

RD best album of 96' looking back now. Aged much better then all the other albums

    RD vs BP is like:

Manning vs Brady...or Deniro vs Pacino

At the end of the day it boils down to preference...

and after 10 years of thinkin about this, and 100+ listens of both...i still cant decide. Ive given up.

RD went Gold in 96' so I don't get the "nobody gave a ? about it"

And Lol at PAC, RD>>>>His Discography. The only reason he was king that year was because of a fake beef.

Pac was NEVER as good as Jay was on the mic in 96'... EVER

i used to be one of those jay-z fans that thought reasonble doubt
was the best jay album ever even though he had in my lifetime vol.1
the dynasty album the black album and bluerpint
till last night i was in my house and i was listening to the first blueprint
lyrically blueprint was miles ahead of reasonble doubt jay-z was just better at the point in his career
he had better rhyme schemes better metphaors wordplay etc.

    This verse>>>>>>>>>> PAC Discography

Mannerisms of a young Bobby DeNiro, spent spanish wisdoms
in a whip with dinero, crime organized like the pharoah
    I cream, I diamond gleam
High post like Akiem, got a lot of things to drop
Brooklyn to Queens, I gotta keep my steam
? wanna try to hem my long jeans
Uptown fiend for Jay-Z to appear on the scene
In the meanwhile, here's somethin dope for y'all to lean
    Liason for days on in
Money make the world go around so I made songs to spin
Can I Live, did dough, with my nigs, dividends flow
like the Mississippi riv', lookin jig'
Can't do for dolo, had to turn away when Tony killed Manolo
That's real, mixed feelings like a mulatto
Thug thought he was O.G. Bobby Johnson
I played him like Benny Blanco, mano a mano
you ain't ready, I find no trigger straight up shoot my guns
horizontal, get your weight up, I am
two point two pounds you're barely a hundred and twenty-five grams
Wouldn't expect y'all to understand this money
Do the knowledge, do the few dollars, I'm due to demolish
Crews Brooklyn through Hollis to a hood near you, what the ? ...

    u trolling like mothefucker lol.

Allow me to introduce first {*gunshot fires*} Makaveli the Don
Hysterical, spiritual lyrics like the holy Qu'ran
    ? get shook like 5-0
My forty-five gun's next to me when we ride, for survival
Money makin plans, pistol close at hand, swollen pockets
Let me introduce the topic, then we drop it
Expose snakes cause they breathe freely, see me ride?
Located world wide like the art of graffiti
I think I'm tougher than Nitti, my attitude is ?
    Colder than a dopefiend's ? ... huh
In every city you'll find me
Look for trouble right behind me
My Outlaw ? down to die for me, knahmean?
I hit the scene ? duckin from my guillotine stare
I'm right there; my every word, a ? nightmare
Get me high, let me see the sun rise and fall
This for my dogs, down to die for y'all
Extreme venom, no mercy when we all up in 'em
Cut 'em down.. to Hell is where we send 'em
My whole team, trained to explode ride or die
Murder ? lyrically, and I'm not gon' cry
Me - a born leader never leave the block without my heater
Two big pits, I call them my ? ? eaters
And not a whimper 'til I'm gone
Thug Life runnin through my veins so I'm strong
    (Ha ha ha)

this verse >>> jay-z whole career lol but with this got to with my thread man.
