Kurupt destroyed NY, NY. Plus that video was so iconic back then.

Kurupt killed tha joint,,,but LA ,LA was way more grimy and them mobb deep ? killed the track...the beat was a monster too!
-
L.A. L.A. was the better song, but like a poster above said, New York New York had a more infamous video.
-
i always thought NY NY was the better song and of course better video.....and that beat is on some smooth gangsta ?
-
New York New York big city of dreams
And everything in New York ain't always what it seems
You might get fooled if you come from out of town
But I'm down by law, and I'm from the Dogg Pound -
easily new york new york because of the lyricsm
kuruput displayed. -
No contest in my eyes New York New York Owned the time frame 1st Time I heard LA LA was on here...

LA LA by a lanslide...Tragedy's verse was killer.
-
I always liked "New York, New York" because Kurupt displayed the ill lyrical clapping during that era, yet "L.A. L.A." was better because of the beat which Marley Marl produced and used that sample before RZA did for Big on "Long Kiss Goodnight" and Khadafi, Mobb Deep and Capone N' Noreaga coming together to clap back for N.Y. when no one was doing it..and co-sign to dude above...Tragedy's verse>>>>>>>>>>
Plus that video was dark and grimy... -

Yeah...great producing minds (Marley Marl and RZA) thinking alike. They both used the same sample.
The sample starts at 0.05... -
