this aint nothing but some old fashioned Nas hate. first of all most of the fickle ass ? who call Nastradamus anything other than a great album are just some johnny come lately Nas fans who probably started checkin for him around I Am and thought he was gonna make more hate me now tracks. ? yall. Nastradamus is a GREAT album. 4/5. superior lyricism shown on this album that was more creative and expansive than the likes of DMX, Jay Z and others during 99-00. Nastradamus title track is a BANGER. one of my top 5 Nas songs. winter 99 futuristic ? yall dont about that joint. ? yall. Project Window is pure poetry. Come Get Me is HARDBODY. i remember he did that ? on Chris Rock HBO show and i bought the album the next day. Nas and Premo best collab since NYSOM pt2. New World is genius. all that ? he rapped about in New World is happening now. Nas was another Queens rapper talking about the illuminati before it became trendy to be aware of them. ? Loves Us is a real ass track. im not a fan of religious "street" tracks but that track is inspiring. Shoot Em Up is dope as ? . I love that Piano riff and Jingle Bells interpolation. Life We Chose is hard. Yall just some young ? . Owe Me Something was big in the clubs in 99-00. The first time I got grinded on in a club they played that song to a packed dance floor of hoes getting loose. This is a great album. stop letting these blogsites cloud yall judgement and actually sit down and listen to Nastradamus. I loved this album since it came out. vol 3 cant ? with it. VVV cant ? with it. then there was x cant ? with it. man ? yall haters. Nas dropped 2 albums in 1 year in 99 real Nas fans were GRATEFUL for this. remember we havent had a full Nas LP since IWW. I Am Double Album was on the verge of being scrapped altogether because this album leak had a HIGH demand. Murda Muzik and Nastradamus are forefathers of downloaded hip hop albums. piracy destroyed the continuity and presentation of the real works of these albums. none the less instead of being scary little ? . Mobb and Nas kept making music and fufilled their fans wishes by dropping albums despite widespread bootlegging.

    Well damn, i'm a lost of words....but lol'd @ the bold.

Nastradamus wasnt even nas' worst album, the nastradamus video might have been weak but the lyrics are on point

Now, lounge homeboy, you in the Godly zone
Rest in peace, Ill Will, now your name's in the throne
and We gon' rep it the best that we can
Physically, you was killed by the weapons of man
But where you at now, you lamp laid in Mac's now
Where Bravehearts put they rap down in honor of your name, you a legend
And they don't understand how you ceo from heaven
    But that's another level, brethren

    he killed that ?

You make some great points Tomp but keep it 100, there were plenty of LP's in 99 better than "NaStradamus":

    I Am
    Chronic 2001
    The Slim Shady LP
    Things Fall Apart
    Murda Muzik
Vol 3 (Even though it wasn't that great)
    Black on Both Sides

The album was rushed and honestly didn't even need to come out. He could of just rode off "I Am" which was very successful at that time and he still would of had a great year.

vol 3 isnt even on the same echelon, couple other questionable ones too

People can hate on the beats and hooks but Lyrically NaS never slipped in his career, ever, he's always been on point lyrically with his LP's. Now on certain songs he may have slipped but over an LP he's never slipped lyrically.

I can't take Complex or really any of the other so called Hip-Hop publications opinions seriously. It was a bunch of albums on there that really didn't belong Complex needs to stick to doing stricky entertainment and Rolling Stone needs to stop reviewing Hip-Hop altogether.

I agree, "Lasers" should of made the list. I also don't agree with the Bone Thugs album they picked, they could of went later in their catalog but "Resurrection" was the last good Bone Thugs album.

c/s......they contradicted themselves when they said they only have great rappers on their list and then lil b's album is on their. It's kinda ironic and funny that were mad that a terrible rapper made the list for havin a terrible album, but a Great rapper who had a terrible ablum didn't make the list lmao.

What in the Hell is Ice's Cube's "Lethal Injection" doing on this list? that album wasn't bad. The more and more I look at this list, the more I think it would be the equvilent to a "SHOCK POST" on here. Just because "Lethal Injection" wasn't better than Cube's 1st 3 don't make it wack:

Exactly. I thought they would put Ice Cube's War and Peace but instead of Lethal Injection?.......I don't take Complex serious anyway.

Funny, they mention Das Efx's 2nd album?.....WHAT THE ? ?....that album was great.

And even they mention Sex and Violate....smh.

what made me mad about his list is that they said "stressed Out" is a tribe called quest's worst song.

are u ? serious? this is like one of they best songs lyrically, beatwise and the song has a great concept. their a white magazine anyway.

Yea, someone else said that in this post also. Faith was great on the hook. The only reason "Best rhymes and life" gets hate is cause of the 3 LP's it followed up.

Beats, rhymes, Life >>>>>>>>>> The Love Movement

Actually Hustlers Pome is better. I wouldnt expect a ? who dickrides a rapper with a majority cracka fanbase to understand this though. I mean you're a dickrider. In 2011. Holla back at me when you mature enough to be just a fan. Nerve of this extra corny ass ? .

? I asked u a simple question there was no need for u to say all that extra ? ....

your talking ? about nas with a jim jones album cover in ya avi .... then to top it off u say that album is nicer than nastradamous LoL ....

Nobody was talking ? about Nas, stupid. I was commenting on an album I purchased. See hiw adults can comment on an album by an artist but not actually be ? on the artist? Its called unbiased criticism. Hopefully you'll hit manhood and understand a simple ass concept. Did I imply jim was a better talent than Nas? No stupid. Im implying that Jones' best album is more enjoyable than Nas' worst. Comprehend, stupid?
