"Quarterback Jacory Harris and 11 other Miami players who accepted extra benefits from former booster Nevin Shapiro will be allowed by the NCAA to play again, some as soon as the second game of the season.
The harshest penalties handed down Tuesday were reserved for those who took gifts from Shapiro while being recruited. Defensive lineman Olivier Vernon will sit out six games, while Ray Ray Armstrong—considered among the nation’s top safeties—and tight end Dyron Dye will miss four games apiece. They are three of eight players, including Harris, who must sit out games and repay benefits before they can be reinstated."
Guess they didnt get hit too hard

I think we got off easily, should be able to have most of the suspended players for the FSU game
-
Maybe they took pity on the U since they haven't been ? lately. It's kind of useless for them to scrap a ? season(s) from the Canes.

These ? is more inconsistent than Roger Goodell, remember....Pryor and them was able to play in the cotton bowl (smh @ the name "cotton bowl") Cam Newton was able to play the whole year, Miami gets these bumass suspensions....
but USC gets drop kicked out of bowl contention, Stevan Ridley got suspended for his bowl game for an academic violation (literally got suspended the day before the NCAA allowed Ohio St players to play), Dez Bryant suspended the rest of the season (10 games) for TALKING to Deion Sanders, and AJ Green was immediately suspended when they found out he sold his jersey -

? desperate for ticket sales out here lol -
damn and all 72 players could have to repay everything they received?
will 'the unnamed player' have to return the abortion fee? -

How isn't Roger Goodell inconsistent? Kenny Britt and Aqib Talib were both in trouble with the law during the lockout and have not been suspended...Terrell Pryor was suspended in college and left, HE WASNT EVEN IN THE NFL LAST YEAR and now he's suspended in the league? thats inconsistency.
theres more but thats all I can think of off the top of the head. -
Lol @ ? in this thread disappointed because they were anticipating the downfall of the u. we built too strong for this ? mayne. we will prevail and we will succeed.
but in all seriousness, we did dodge a bullet though lol -

Y'all got jacory Harris. The NCAA didn't have to rule a death penalty. And we aren't anticipating anything. It's already happening -
