    the shield to me is the best cable series ever just edging out the wire b/c they did what the wire was scared to do and that was push the envelope and ? off main characters.

    Seen every Rescue Me episode. Last few seasons of Rescue Me fell the ? off, and the last one so was ? horrible and pointless. The first few seasons were good, but it just degraded slowly over time.

    I never watched rescue me with any regularity.. but vic mackey was gangsta as ? .. the features inteh show were crazy too.. forrest whitaker role was grimey as ? .. The Shield was great .You wont be dissapointed

    Stringer Bell wasn't a main character? They killed Bodie and Omar too...I mean come on they killed a few main or important characters. Lem and Shane were what Omar and Bodie were to the wire.

    To answer OP...Definitely the sheild ? on Rescue Me.

    the shield hands down....? is raw and they got good stories...when i first checked it out i was like "oh ? what channel is this? they can do that on tv?" lol
