I didnt write this. stumbled across it and the author claims to be a music teacher confirming what we already knew. Mariah Carey and (pre crack) Whitney Houston have virtually unlimited vocal range! and Jennifer Lopez and Ashlee Simpson have extremely limited vocal range!!

Some surprises. Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and Patti Labelle are lower on the octave range than you think. and Ashanti and Amerie are higher than youd think!!

    Lol, I read this and skipped over Christina Aguilera....I was about to get upset that she wasn't on the list but friggin Ashlee Simpson was.
