TLC and Destiny's Child each have what the other lacks, or doesn't do as good, and vice versa.
TLC can't harmonize as good as DC, and lacks the vocal talent. However, DC isn't as good at utilizing eachother's talent in equal portions, to create a coherent product.
The Writing's on the Wall and CrazySexyCool are both testaments to that.
My vote goes to CrazySexyCool. Despite the lack of vocal talent there, the music is outstanding.

Crazy Sexy Cool!
theres nothing to fast forward on that album. it really takes me back to a much more fun time in my life! -
not many albums top crazysexycool for me. as good as writings on the wall was, this is not one of those albums.

CrazySexyCool wins just for "Diggin on You"....man, I love that song.

Crazysexycool and it's no contest. This album is essential for music. Original, inventive and varied musically and lyrically.

That song goes hard, tho. -
my vote is CrazySexyCool. TLC has the most unique style and sound of any female group, maybe ever.
TLC had "Waterfalls" , "Red Light Special", Creep", "Diggin On U" all essential songs for mid 90s R&B even Pop music. These songs still dont sound dated.
Destiny Child cranked out hits on that album. but thier songs lacked that classic feel. "Bill Bills Bill' & "BugABoo' are throwaway singles. "SaY My Name" is the only classic single. Jumpin Jumpin" is cool but come on?
TLC by a mile..... -
The Writings On The Wall is "classic"? LOLOLOLOL

Though I admire both of these Groups' art, but ya gotta admit, at least TLC did show off, each individuals' talent, even if only one group member did have the ''superior'' vocal capabilities...
DC ,though W.O.T.W was a dope LP, was really only about one member, so I don't believe we got that ''balance'', in terms of variety, or individual talent....unless you count snippet's of Kelly....chiming in, with a verse or hook, now and again

CRAZYSEXYCOOL all the way
i'm kind of surprised that the other album is being deemed a classic? but i guess to each his own.
