GREAT beats, I was recommended this album. Haven't heard vol. 1 yet. Most of the emcees and singers came correct, a couple had bars that weren't memorable. -
Just Added:
Dj Premier - Rough Beats & Loops Vol 2 - As expected with this title, very rough but raw beats.... its like its scrap bin.
Black Milk - Tronic - 1st Listen - AMAZING!!!! -

Yeah, wasn't just X's energy though, sometimes the depth that he had was the reasons why he had the comparisons to Pac etc. Slippin' is in my top 100 all time hip hop tracks, I'd say.
Aigyo's amazing and well worth a listen, Spirited Away is nice, but it was something I got because my class were studying the film.
I really need to get that Blood Diamond soundtrack then, 'cos yeah, the film's amazing, Di Caprio's my favourite actor of recent years.
P.s. SMH @ Drake LOL. Saw him live, dude was alright. -

Cool, you'll enjoy it and I'll probably have a few of those on Japanese Joy Vol. 3!
Sweet, I'll definitely check out the soundtrack! Yeah definitely, Shutter Island turns your world upside down, I really HATED the ending so much so that I thought it was GENIUS! Because any film that can upset you that much has seriously done its homework!!! I was really rooting for Di Caprio's character and I was really unsure of myself when I realised what was happening... almost still didn't believe it.
Hahaha nah, I've not check for it, tbh. I tried listening to two tracks in The Reason that were posted and I just wasn't all that impressed :unno:, I'll probably check it out eventually though... I've not even got a list anymore, I just listen when I get the chance. Not doing as good a job as mod as I'd like to be, but work is officially priority this year. Unfortunately. We'll see as the new year comes in whether can change that! -
Meyhem Lauren - Self Induced Illness
I'd never heard of him a week ago but I think hes one of the best rappers i've heard for a while -
Mobb Deep - Black ?
Lupe Fiasco - Friend of the People
ATQC - Low End Theory
Kendrick Lamar - Section.80
Sneaker Pimps - Becoming X

Hahahaa gotta appreciate the classics Draft!! you telling me you dont like scooby doo theme song? your the crazy one...
Return of the magnificent ive had a listen to and its pretty good....
Great adventures to me always sounded a bit dated and got a few tracks which let it down, wouldnt consider it a classic (might be blasphemy as a hip hop head), but it is a great cd. Has got some classics.
I Have high hopes for all the above ^^^^ -

Really? Can't say I was ever a fan, it was all about Sister Sister and Kenan and Kel from as early as I can remember.
Nice, I think Return of the Magnificent had some great production moments… there was a standout track on it as well, but it's ages since I played it.
I need to check it out, even with the perhaps let downs aside, I'm sure it's a great disc. HMV never stocked it though. -
