Chauncey billups gets WAY too much credit for the nuggets getting to the WCF in 09 in a reason people ? on Iverson.

They ended up losing to the same team(Lakers) that Iverson lost to in 08'.

If Chauncey was on the Nuggets in 07/08 they lose to the same spurs and lakers teams

Massive amounts of truth to this

I am not Paul Peirce, lol...I respect your opinion in this case. I just think you're missing the point of KG's whole demeanor...its not to intimidate it's to irritate. And bc he doesn't fight you guys think he is a ? , when he isn't. How stupid would KG be to get himself thrown out of the game in order to retaliate against a player as mediocre as Anthony Peeler...that's all I am saying

theres ? talking to annoy (regge miller and jordan) or to intimidate (barkley and oakley) then theres ? talking to a point where ur opponent's had enough and puts his hands on you and you dont defend yourself and look to the refs and teamates to defend you...yea that ? ....hes still a great baller though

Melo is a SAVAGE man, Durant doesn't play well when he is crowded

I Said I like Melo better. But ? look at it like this

"HOW IS THIS ? DURANT SCORING MORE THEN MELO WHEN HE'S JUST COMING OFF SCREENS AND HITTING FT's?"
They can't believe it cause it's not supposed to happen.
Melo got all the offensive moves in the books and he still can't score as much as Durant and isn't more efficient.
I want to see if Melo can get the scoring title this year, but in all likely hood it will be Durant.... AGAIN.

Melo doesn't GUN unless he's swagging (tanslation: he doesn't shoot a lot, unless he is hot)...HE gets hit without fouls more than any star in the L right now. It will change in NY. His scoring average will turn up because he will make more threes due to the freedom he has with D'Antoni. PLus he will get his calls in NY. I get what you're saying though. Melo is a much better passer than Durant also

Kobe bryant is overrated his defense, bball iq and overall skills are overrated

He is not a great leader or complete player as we saw from 05-07 ,pau gasol saved that guys career

He is just a MJ clone to a T from the fist pump, tongue out da mouth, free throw shooting and fade aways this guy is obsessed wit jordan and will never be better

Only the 22 and under crowd who never saw mj play will argue that non sense

Kobe's D isn't overrated, He can play! He has a high BBALL IQ, he is just a sociopath, he thinks he's always the best option. So, he has poor shot selection...he is a jordan clone but he is nice anf a better long range shooter than mike,,,,but jordan is far greater

There's very few players who "makes everyone around them better"

I think analysts and fans throw that phrase out too often

Kobe Bryant is better than Michael Jordan in literally every facet of the game.
Allen Iverson is top 10 to play the game regardless of position.
T-mac in his prime is a top 10 all-time talent.
Tim Duncan gets overrated because he has rings.
Kevin Garnett is the greatest PF of all-time.
Kobe was better than Shaq for at least one of those 3-peat years.
Old players like Wilt and them would suck in today's game.
The Kobe, AI, Duncan, Garnett, Shaq era was the most talented era of basketball we have ever seen.

kobe needed to bite all of mj's moves to be great

if a.i. had shaq he would have won 3 rings with him too

kobe defense is overrated, gilbert arenas dropped 60 on him

durant will never win a title with westrbrook as #2 option

even if lakers get paul and howard they still won't win a chip bcs mike brown is the coach

if billups goes to the heat just ship them their rings ok i'm done

    ? just too easy

That was the point of the thread, to post unpopular basketball opinions.
