Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions - HD gameplay video
Options
Your friendly neighborhood Spider-man is going on a spectacular multi-dimensional adventure in his next outing, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, which sends old Web-head to realities both "amazing" and "noir." Let's hope the two remaining mystery realms don't include a "suck" dimension.
The previously teased Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions will toss Spider-Man into four separate Marvel universes, according to GameSpot's first look at the Beenox-developed title. That quadruple reality rift is caused by the mystical MacGuffin known as the Tablet of Order and Chaos, which Peter Parker must reacquire.
Two realities, "noir" and "amazing," appear to be lifted from the Marvel Comics series of the same names, the Depression era Spider-Man: Noir and more modern The Amazing Spider-Man. (Update: Looks like Marvel's 2099 universe may also be represented. See below.)
The game's first trailer highlights some of the gameplay differences between the two settings, as well as offering a preview at two of the game's bad guys, Kraven the Hunter and Hammerhead. It also gives us a peek at some of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions' first-person punching.
ctivision promises that the two remaining realities will be revealed at the official Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions web site. There are plenty of reality opportunities for Spider-Man, including dimensions set in the rotting Marvel zombies universe, the futuristic 2099 universe, the historical 1602 universe, and beyond.
Personally, I'm hoping for Spider-Man India to get a chance to shine.
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is slated for release on PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360 this September with a Nintendo DS version also in the works.

doesn't look too bad so far, I don't like the comic/cartoonish graphics though. These super hero games need to follow in steps of Batman AA.

I have low expectation for this game since it's Activision

That look worked/made sense for Batman's universe. I like this art direction for Spider-Man. -
noir part of the game looks like a complete arkham asylum rip off...

maybe slightly for the Noir one, not the other.
The Noir one I think more so of how the guys are walking around, and how he pulled him with his web. I think he was hanging upside down as well. Anyway, that's not necessarily a bad thing. If it's a 100% rip off it is but to use a bit here n there isn't -

the cartoon one right? i had it for the dreamcast, and yeah it was GOAT -
I think this Spiderman might actually be a success compared to its priors. Looks like they're using a Street Fighter IV-like brush art effect for this one too. Haven't gotten itno a Spiderman game in a loooong time, but this one looks like it has potential.
Scheduled for September 2010 release. -
The art style for noir spiderman look pretty good
