maybe its me but it seems like people are coping a different vehicle like every 3-5 yrs. Personally speaking Ive had my current car for like a year, and dont plan on getting rid of it until 5-7 years, just like i did with my previous car which i had for 7 yrs

Generally no they don't but I think that has something to do with the lack of quality in cars these days. I get bored with cars so I switch up more often then I need to but I'm starting to fall back on that because I'm tired of car payments.

yeah you shouldn't put too much more money into that '96 -
why do people complain about how hard life is but they can afford all these expensive ass cars?

I'm not really digging the New TL's.....I like the 04-08 TL's.......they got a lil get up and go too....Itz Luigi ? ! wrote: »yeah you shouldn't put too much more money into that '96
Actually I haven't really put to much money into that car....besides preventive maintenance work every other year......I'm keeping it and I will replace the Trans and the Motor too.....but I'm going to get me a 07 TL with low miles(going through an auction) cause I need something dependable -
What am I going to keep changing vehicles for?

Still rollin in my 96 Honda Accord. 240:k+ miles. Had it since 99. Still runs good, same transmission and all. Only problem is the paint has faded on the roof, but that can be fixed easily

Extremely good care.........I got a small leak in the heads of the motor(small amount of moisture is getting in there) so I will be replacing the motor too........transmission going out......
found a motor for $975 45k miles, and transmission $845 3yr warranty...... -

that's almost two grand you're about to throw down on that car. do those prices even include labor? and why do it if you're looking for something new? -
My parents usually keep their cars for 10 years or longer

I don't see the point in keeping a car past 3 yrs b/c the materials that used to make cars these days are now more plastic than metal and if you just happen to get into an accident look at how bad the metal folds up on them.
