-
Its an ok song. I'll probably never listen to it again though
-
it was alright
i think he can do so much better..
sounds like he bored.. -
What y'all mean what happened?...This sounds no different than the average Lupe song...Vivid socially charged lyrics over better beats than the average conscious rapper...That said, the overall song ain't all that, but the verses are dope.
-
Not even going to listen to it after that lasera ? .
-
dope concept...not executed that great tho
-
ehh. hope this doesn't end up on it.
-
6/10

co-sign. Get that lazy ass wale flow the ? outta here.... Lupe on some other ? . I think he's trying to stray away form that label he got after F&L/The cool
-
Dope concept, but it coulda been executed better...a whole lot better. Smh, c'mon Lupe.
Lupe had slim to no charisma on this track. -
he sound bored as ?
concept and beat were cool
-
I'll agree partly with those naysaying his energy flow-wise, except for the last verse where he sped up the pace.
I thought he could've amped the hook by either looping up a someone, preferably a female talking that "bad bish" issh (like Nicki Minaj) or some portion of the kind of related lines from Hurt Me Soul below. I think sometimes a naturally laid back person can get perceived (sometimes incorrectly) as not being passionate. Just because they're not as overtly hyped up as a, say, Meek Mill.
I used to hate hip-hop... yup, because the women degraded
But Too $hort made me laugh, like a hypocrite I played it
A hypocrite I stated, though I only recited half
Omittin the word "? ," cursin I wouldn't say it
Me and dog couldn't relate, til a ? I dated
Forgive my favorite word for hers and hers alike
But I learnt it from a song I heard and sorta liked -
U ? reaching. That first thought I had on this song was Lupe was sarcastically sounding lazy on this song because he is mocking the current mainstream "lazy" flow that rappers like Ross,Wayne, etc use. That's the current cool way to rap, and also check out Lupe "flow". Lupe is trying to appeal to the young teenies.
Overall the song is cool, I ? with it. Also the ending is dope. Song sounds like something that will grow on you.

I like this. Ive listened to this atleast five times.I support creativity. yeah his flow is a bit lazy but the lyrics are good so i ? with it.
