With all the pre-order buzz surrounding Nuketown 2025, we thought it would be a good idea to compare this year’s Call of Duty to last year’s MW3. We were a little surprised to discover that Black Ops 2 is trailing MW3 by a fair margin. When Black Ops 2 was announced in May, it was said that BO2 pre-orders were close to 3x that of MW3 the first week they were both announced.

Amazon has revealed that pre-orders for Call of Duty: Black Ops II
are ten times the pre-order numbers of the original Black Ops. In addition, pre-orders are also 30 percent higher than Modern Warfare 3's pre-order numbers.
Previously, Modern Warfare 3 set the Amazon record for most pre-ordered game of all-time. In fact, MW3 is among the top 20 pre-orders ever for Amazon, including non-game items like books and movies.
@SecondChanceBro if you're going yo post something at least have a credible site and post the whole article bIn all fairness, these are U.S. pre-order numbers only. It’s possible that the euro number could be drastically different as well. It will also be interesting to see how much the numbers increase next month which should reflect a spike due to the recently announced Nuketown 2025 promo.

Numbers don't lie ? , the Pre-Orders are way down compared to MW3 from the same time last year. There is evidence to back that up. You said "the preorders are tracking ahead of MW3 at this same point". You have nothing to support that claim and you did'nt even link a source. Your game is dying PimpMVP will be on suicide watch 2013. Vivendi see's the boat starting to sink that is why they are selling their Majority share stock in Activision stupid. BTW any COD player knows Charlie intel is credible for Blops 2 info they break alot of news on that site about Blops 2. They dropped the first screen shot month ago. BTW they got that particular info from http://www.vgchartz.com/preorders. So, when the hell did amazon become a credible source GTFOH.
