    lol thats the problem with relationships now. There is nothing "old" about taking pride in being able to take care of your loved one.

    And as said in this thread before, of course he can do it his self. But I WANT to do it for him. I want to see the happiness he gets on his face when he's worked all day or tired fromw hatever and I hand him his plate and he grubs and looks completly at peace. I love knowing im part of the reason for that contempt.

    Just as I can change my own oil ( even put starter on my own car before) but he wouldnt dare let me do it. I dont have to take out the trash or mow the lawn or even just the other day I was gonna tighten the screws ont he screen door and he caught me and took the screwdriver from me and did it for me.

    Again I ask if it works why change it? Do you just randomly throw things out because youve had them for awhile even though they still work just as good as the day you bought them? That doesnt make sense.

    I get my own plate. ? I look like waiting for her to do it because she's a woman? She can hook me up in other ways. Yeah she may be the girlfriend or the wife, but if I'm hungry...? that ? ! I'm getting my own plate and that's final. She can reciprocate some other way.

    jcapri just made a thread the other day realizing that she was arguing against thing that made sense just because she was young and being fooolishly defiant, thinking that she knew better...

    something happened that made her realize that even though the ppl on this board are a few yearsolder than her, none of this ? is really knew, cuz we've all be there before..she just apologized for being so hard headed..it ended up being a pretty funny and long thread.. someone should bump or link it
