Scottie Pippen would pit the clamps on Lebron

Idk about Pip but Cosign the Rodman thing
Karl Malone was the closest thing physically to the way lebron Is built. Big muscular guys that can move fast. If rodman can frustrate the mail man I think he would definately be able to take lebron outta his game being that bron ain't even mentally tougher than malone was, plus rodman had footspeed on defense and is probably the only guy crazy enough to attempt to take a charge fron bron and id bet he would get the calls his way.
naw lol... Malone had musles and ? but Bron is way faster and a better athlete... Bron can dribble while Malone was a post player... they are nothing alike
I know Bron is faster, Im just goin by body type and the fact that both could put the ball on the floor and drive preety good for big men. Karl's mid range shot was actually better than Bron's actually.

JJ barea and J kidd took turns putting the clamps on Lebron in June 2011.

@c1up lebron is a better offensive player than penny and grant
He's the only one with a scoring title....penny career high per game is like 21 and lebron hasn't been that low since his rookie year and grant's is 25 and if averaged that it would be considered a "down"year
Penny had horrible fg% once shaq left and became the focal point of teams defensives....and despite averaging more shots per game lebron has a better % and is basically a wash with hill even though hill isn't putting up nearly the attempts lebron has(and hasn't for years, since his injuries)
So if grant hill and penny had better jumpers and could get to the cup "just as easily" as lebron then why isn't it translating in the stats?
Like i said, lebron is a better offensive player than those two, idc how "pretty" nh their jumpers were, and they routinely gave Pippen fits -
Pippen wouldn't stop lebron from getting to the hole and lebron could pull up and hit jumpers in his face if he wanted to
-
lol at grant hill n penny getting to the hole better than lebron
-
Rodman and prime Artest that gives him hell
-
I never saw a player D Lebron up. With the exception of Igoudala and Lebron still get off with him defending him. Pippen may stand a chance but Lebron is just too big. He probably has a 30 pound weight advantage on Pip and he's stronger than Pip most likely.

So ? gon act like rondo didn't guard lebron pretty good in the clucth in the playoffs multiple times this year and last year??
And wade used to give bron the clamps b4 bron joined him -
The rules back in the days are different than the rules of today. Today's basketball players are ? made so Lebron is probably gonna cry like a ? and get 40 foul shots by default. If it was back in the day or on some street ball ? , Lebron wouldn't score ? .

Depends on what NBA rule we talking about b/c with the no handchecking dont see Pippen putting clamps on LBJ but if we talking about 90's rules well there is a argument there b/c even though Lebron is a machine Pippen physical play would frustrate him
But the 90s rules cut both ways because i think you could be lil bit more physical as the offensive player too. So you could clear outThe rules back in the days are different than the rules of today. you can't be serious right now , have you ever played ball against a stronger player . You can foul him but that won't matter and If a defender can be physical so can an offensive player. They flopping around now so they can get calls so they can win not because they not tough. -

Exactly...dude just had a HISTORIC (not good, or great...but something for the history books) season and playoffs. Won the MVP, Finals MVP, dropped games that are damn near statistical anomalies, beat a team that EVERYBODY picked to beat them in 4 or 5 games....in 5. And cats talking about Rondo, Artest, JJ Barea, Jason Kidd putting the clamps on Bron. Further evidence on how far blogs, message boards, chat rooms are from actual reality. -
It depends on how the refs are calling the game.
If the refs "let them play," then I agree.
If the refs give Lebron his "we have now declared you as the best player in the league" calls then, Pippen would just slow him down and take away his jump shot... but we all know once Lebron puts his head down and drives to the hole, there's a 70% chance the defender will be called for a foul. -

Nice way to hide the fact that the was the 1st year all the injuries kicked in, he only played 59 games that year and still w/o SHAQ almost upset a championship contending Miami squad, all the while droppin 40 pt games back to back on em and avg 30 plus for that series with no help.. the year after that he had an even more serious injury and it was basically a wrap, lost his explosiveness etc.
Penny >> LB offensively and it aint even close.. and comparing Grant to LB offensively is a joke as well. -

Your a ? clown...so a dude who has never in his life avg over 25pts a game is OFFENSIVELY better than a dude who has never avg UNDER 25 pts a game. SMH... -
^Ur an imbecile.. Penny never took close to the amount of shots LB has took in his career..
the most shots Penny has took in a season (15) is still 3 less than the least Lebron has (18)... fact.
If u gave a prime Penny the same 20 fga that Bron gets he easily avg's 26-29ppg, u dolt.
Plus he wasnt getting babied like LB and getting sent to the line 10x a night.. when LB sees the refs aint giving him calls he ? up like he did in the Finals vs Dallas cuz he heavily depends on that ? , FOH.
As a player, sure, LB >>> Penny.. but not as a scorer.. watch the game and not just stats, and if ur gonna watch stats pay attention to all of em.

? outta here with your excuses ? , so your whole point is Penny is better offensive player than Bron...because he didn't take enough shots (and Bron is more efficient)? LMAO....isnt that ? POINT of being an offensive player?
Yeah lets not let stats, numbers and you know ACTUAL facts get in the way of your hating. -
U act as if Penny aint shoot 51% for 2 consecutive years and had he not gotten injured wouldve more than likely continued.. Bron gets sent to the line a lot which in turn helps his FG% bcuz the shot missed and attempted gets deducted once a foul is called.
If Penny got the extra 5/6 fga, at the rate he was shooting (50%) he wouldve made 3 more fg's which wouldve been 6 extra points, which like I said he wouldve avg'd round 26-29ppg.
Did u even watch Penny play? U know that was LB fav player growing up rite? He was more offensively tuned than LB is, could do more offensively than LB can.. except it. -
