PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy has a torn meniscus in his right knee and his status for the playoffs is uncertain.
Roy will miss Monday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder and Wednesday's regular season finale against Golden State.
He will require surgery and will be out from four to six weeks. But he said he may try to play with the injury in the playoffs because doctors told him it cannot get worse.
Roy is the Blazers' leading scorer with 21.8 points per game. He injured his knee on Sunday when the Blazers played at the Lakers.
The Blazers have clinched a spot in the playoffs, but their opponent for the first round has yet to be determined.
I hope the Suns get 2nd or 3rd b

tough break one man show -
Sucks for all these teams that are losin their best players right before the playoffs, ima go van gundy for a minute and say we need a new rule, if your star players gets injured before the playoffs and wont be back, you should give up ur playoff seed to whoevers in the 9th spot. Or you can choose 1 player from a non playoff team as a injury replacement
-
Portland stay losin they like the cubs of basketball.

I am a Roy fan, but the way things are shaping up right now, looks like we might get the Blazers in the first round. A Roy-less Blazers is what my Lakers need right now. The way we are playing, Any team that comes with high intensity and effort will kick our ? .

c/s...? i thought a healthy Portland would've given the Lakers a run last year, or this year -
"healthy portland" is an oxymoron
-
If he plays, hes not gonna really be explosive. It might be bad for the team if he plays. Especially if he has to go up against Artest or Melo.. Even J-Rich will handle him if he got 1 leg
