Amerikka's Most Wanted no doubt
-
Illmatic not even close that ? is just a pure classic from front to back
-
illmatic easy
-
I cant choose between Illmatic, ? , and Its Dark and Hell Is Hot.
-
Shid I might catch some flack about my opinion but I gotta say TM 101. IMO that ? was a classic; the production, the content, and Jeezy wordplay on TM 101 was on point.

Dr. Dre - The Chronic
the ? altered the game
-
Kanye-College Dropout
8Ball&MJG-Comin Out Hard
Kid Cudi-Man On The Moon
Young Buck-Straight Outta Ca$hville
Goodie Mob-Soul Food
Bone Thugs N Harmony-Creepin on ah Comeup
Nelly-Country Grammar
T.I.P.-I'm Serious -
lol, 2Pacalypse shouldn't even be on here. Favorite rapper, but it's not even in the same class as most of these

It didn't have the same impact, but it was a good album -
Tie between:
? - It's was before all this east coast/west coast ? . It was listened to by both coasts and everywhere in between. Snoop's take on Slick Rick's classic "Lodi Dodi" and Gin & Juice are the two cuts that even east coast cats could relate to.
It's Dark and Hell is Hot - Came out after the coastal war. A lot of ? was feeling X's energy. -

Yeah you right. -
This is one of the better questions i've seen in a minute on the IC....much apprecation!
And after much thought I'd have to choose...
The Chronic....That album shook up, killed & changed the hip hop game all in one swoop.
All the other albums are definite classics so its honestly hard to choose. I guess its about where u were at & what you were doing at the times those albums dropped. Along with how they impacted you. -
Are most people forgetting Its dark and Hell is hot/ That Album single handidly killed the shiny suit era!!!!

It was a classic album no doubt - but I don't think it killed that era all by itself. I give credit to most of the Def Jam & Southern (although I didn't particularly care for the music at the time) artists for doing that. ? - I remember watching DMX's "Party Up" video and wondering what the ? is this ? wearing - a red/maroon leather coat/hoodie that looked kinda shiny to me and that was on his second album. -
college dropout & food n liquor should b on there...
-
my pick is ready to die
-
Dre followed closely by BIG and Snoop's
if 2pacs first album was Me Against the World, he'd take this list easy... -
Also Warren G's G-Funk Era is a classic
-
Black Moon - Enta Da Stage
Smif-N-Wessun - Da Shinin'
Heltah Skeltah - Nocturnal
OGC - Da Storm
those are all classic debut albums to me. was a big BCC fan back when i was in high school. still am today. those cats were mad young to when their albums dropped 17-18. Ruck and Rock were the oldest. but comparing dudes that young then, to the young cats of today... no contest. -
Illmatic, the age that he was at and the awareness of his surroundings and the world as a whole is amazing.

Yea, dudes be forgetting Nasir was like 19, it makes it that much more of an achievement. -
Illmatic
The Chronic
?
Get Rich Or Die Trying -
I would have too say ? for a ? too live up too that much pressure and deliver not even close that was the most anticipated album in hip hop history.
