well the obvious choice in The Banks' but keep in mind Cliff Huxtable was a doctor, his wife was a lawyer.
yes they lived in Brooklyn but so what? they couldve afforded to live in the Hills i bet -

exactly. i mean the husbands a doctor and the wife is a lawyer.
i dont know how much a judge makes (phillip banks) but i think his wife was unemployed.
the huxtables could have afforded a bulter if the WANTED to. plus they had like 6 kids. -
I'm going to say The Banks.
I know Claire and Cliff was a doctor and a lawyer, but they also had a boatload of kids.
Take into consideration that the kids went to college, and some ended up moving back home with their spouse(s) and kid(s).
That's more mouths to feed. -

it's tough, cuz the huxtables were super down to earth...all into arts n education and jazz n ? like that..they coulda very likely had hellla money in the bank to live like the banks, but just chose to be more urban and laid back...

very true. but are you talking about who had more disposable income or who EARNED more?
because yeah, the Huxtables had 6 kids but the Banks had to pay for
--a live-in butler
--a house in Beverly Hills
i would say those two things alone may have eaten into the disposable income. -
@ dusouljah: thats my point. i think most people assume the Banks had more money cuz they threw it in your face.
the Huxtables were more frugal. they prob had alot of cash stacked up. -

The Banks, i don't know why people assume the Huxtables was stacking money especially with all those kids, grandkids, and lame ass children who refuse to leave the house. They had to give Saundra and her lame ass husband money for a down payment. Hillary,Carlton,Will, and Ashley all left the house and got jobs.

i would say those two things alone may have eaten into the disposable income.
If you're talking about who earned more, then I would say the huxtables because they have 2 incomes of prestigious careers where the banks only had 1.
Disposable? I would say the huxtables....Sonia, Denise, and Theo were in college around the same time and the parents were paying for it--and they all lived on campus or had an apartment close to the campus. -

Carlton was the manager of the store that Will worked at, and they both had to pay rent to live in the pool house. -
