Help me make it thru the Playoffs!!!

Okay so I am sooooo not a big basketball fan. Don't have a fav team or even know who half the players are. In fact I only know the names of the sexy ones word to Allen Iverson :tu

I can watch like one game and enjoy it but seriously... every frickin night there is like 2 or 3 games on!!!!! My manfriend is all about the playoffs and well I am pretty much ignored during this time. I'm trying to not let it get me upset. But damn when does this ish end?????


Sooooo maybe... I was thinking.... I could try to get into the game.

I need some advice on what team to go for. He likes Portland and said if they don't make it he wants the Cavaliers to win. I ususally just pick which color uniform I like and go for that team.

Or maybe I should stay in the kitchen and make drinks and snacks when he's over watching the game or games or whatever.

Anyhooo.... I'm a football fan so this time of year is foreign to me

    I think it's that I ask alot of questions

    he's trying to watch the game and I don't know enough about basketball to follow it

    dont try to get involved in watching the games now, that ? will seem too forced and annoying. Just holler at him during halftime and accept that you are 2nd fiddle during the games.

    but yeah the spurs are like watching paint dry. i cant stand dallas since they fired avery.

    LOL my homeboy had this chick over once, she was like "I love the 49ers!!" (it was football season)

    everything she said that day was "49ers. 49ers. 49ers."

    finally my boy said "name ONE player for the 49ers" ? looked dumbfounded.

    then he said, "do you even know WHY you like the 49ers??"

    turns out the reason was because they were a winning team when she was in elementary school.

    while I'm making comments like "Steve Nash's hair is so greasy... that would annoy me " and stuff like that he's giving me the stink eye like he wants to tell me to shut up or something.

    he's not trying to explain the game to me and I don't want to sit in silence while he yells at the TV either
