Jamie Foxx...great acbut, electro is a powerful cat. Should be an interesting dynamic. This series of spidetmy is giving is solid actresses and actors. Far superior to the last one.

Electro was white wasnt he? Im fine with foxx playing him, he's done great in a lot of movies. Im sure this will be one of his more "big budget action" movies tho.

Tbh tho, i am not excited about electro being the villain at all. Think there are tons of cooler villains they could have picked but i understand they probably dont want to use the ones sam raimi just used.

Really hope the director of these movies makes a Carnage/Venom sequel. His work with the latest spidey was a lot darker and i think carnage and venom would be great with that kind of dark vibe he puts into his work.

I don't deny that Jamie Foxx is a good actor. He's a great one. But I feel like he's in there because he's black and he's a big name. Sounds like Halle Berry as Catwoman to me... or even Halle Berry as Storm. She wasn't right for either role.

IMO, Jamie Foxx would've been better off being cast as Kraven the Hunter.

    Raiden from Mortal Kombat
    Thor kind of counts
    Storm too
If you mean literally electrically powered: Crimson Dynamo

but what I don't like is that the ? that spoke at the end of spiderman was clearly a white dude so this is a bunch of mindfuckery connecting that white dude to a black dude in the next spidey movie.

If he's the only villain, (no kingpin, norman osborne) I definitely won't be checking that ? out, waste of money.

It's ironic that I always wanted a Spider-Man reboot and yet have no interest whatsoever in this iteration of the movie franchise.
